as a fan of rod and the faces from the early days this cd is top notch for any rod fan all the best stuff

its an excellent album and i had originally ruined my copy by leaving it out and getting scratchs all over it. thankfully i found lots of them on ebay, and all at brilliantly low prices!!

I bought the cd after going to see the musical"tonights the night", which contained Many of Rod Stewarts hits, I enjoyed it that much, I wanted to hear the songs when i got home!! I had'nt listend to Rod in years, and only had some old lp's!! Rod has written and performed many memorable tunes over the years, and I for one will never tire of hearing them. This cd certainly has it all, the romantic timeless classics such as " have i told you lately" (my personal favorite), "sailing" and "i dont want to talk about it" to the more upbeat "maggie may" "do ya think im sexy" and "hot legs"! it really is a great album for any occassion, as it has something for all ages. All in all a great cd, one everyone should have in their collection! 5/5

If you are a "Rodney" fan, then you have it. If not, you will be after buying this. The cheeky ,little boy next door will have you captivated with his unique,rasping voice. He will be singing to "you only", leaving you with an emotional aaarrrr..Bringing back early memories of romance and youthful love(Tonights the night). Plainly making you want to cry (in an emotionally happy way, Sailing),then bringing you back to the party (Ooh la la).You'll be taken from the social injustices of the world (Ballard of Georgie)to wanting to invade Scotland and make it you home(Downtown train. IF EVER THERE IS AN UTTERLY BRILLIANT ALBUM THIS IS IT.

Bought as a present for my boyfriend. He was delighted with it. Was going to buy the new album for Christmas, but this double CD album has all the same songs and more on it, so feel like I got a real bargain. I am not a Rod Stewart Fan but this is still very listenable.

This is a fantastic double album, with every favourite track imaginable from Rod Stewart!!! An absolute must for all fans, and THE one album of his to buy - you get everything you could possibly want, all in one complete, great, package, perfect!!! Tracks include Maggie May, Baby Jane, Some Guys Have All The Luck, Young Turks, Da Ya Think I'm Sexy, You Wear It Well, Rhythm Of My Heart, Sailing, Ruby Tuesday, etc., etc., etc. 34 amazing tracks, all very well compiled onto two discs. The first disc is more upbeat, and entitled A Night Out, and certainly contains some danceworthy tracks!! The second disc is entitled A Night In, and as you can imagine, has a slightly more serene feel to it, very relaxing!! A really well put together piece of work, the tracks blend perfectly together, and I honestly can't recommend this highly enough, get out there and get yourself a great album!!! A++++++++++++++++++

After searching for a replacement of my Rod Stewart Greatest hits tape I made a few bids on the same album on cd but after losing I decided to turn my attention to this 2cd set and it was an inspired choice.
you get everything from the earlier G.Hits album plus a host of his most recent work, i'll be listening to this on the way up to the Highlands and what better way to ease the long journey.
Highly recommended purchase, BUY IT!

I was very pleased with the product I only paid a couple of pounds for it and it was in immaculate condition, the cd was a double one and I've played it countless times. Initially I bought it for my husband but its me who plays it most now.

All Rod Stewarts great hits--not a bad one on it,price was just right,the ddouble CDs were in first class condition--no scratghes

Excellent value CD, you'll recognise more Rod Stewart classics than you thought you would! Love the fact that the first CD is all upbeat to get ready for your night out, and the second is all laid back for a good night in. Brilliantly cheesey!

All the old songs I remember and a few more I didn't. I lost my original LP's and this double album more than adequately fills the void.

Always wanted a cd with all the best of his singles on which had to include 'We are Sailing'. This one was perfect. Excellent CD

I bought this cd as I love the version of This Old Heart of Mine feat Ronnie Isley. This cd has most of the earlier hits, and also with some great duets, there is not a bad track on it

its a good cd. with double cd to suit both moods - chilling out or partying mood.
rod is good singer and i like the songs that he sings. always puts me in a singing mood

Never really liked him, then my Dad bought this CD played in the car a few times and I seem to like about 75% of the songs.
hes put a few other rod stewart albums on and i dont like em. So this gets my vote!
