I bought this cd just as a gift for my mum as she couldn't find this volume anywhere! She has all the other ones. She loves it, so that's the main thing. I must admit there are a few on there that I like too! Easy listening.

) i heard this cd playing one day whilst having a pub lunch with a friend and coincidentally it was playing in a cafe the next while i had coffe with another friend. love the music of this era although it is before my time. when i asked what the cd was i was surprised to hear it was rod stewart. went home and got straight on ebay. found it, bought it and recieved it within days. if you like big band/swing you will like this.

like the songs, and bought it on reccomendation of a lady who ownes a shop in France, who thought it a lovely cd....I thought the voice of Rod Stewart was slightly high for this type of song, however, it is listenable.

Having recently had a copy of this superb CD damaged and unplayable I was delighted to be able to buy a copy on e-bay at a fantastic price and in such good condition. This volume i feel is the best of the song books and would recomend it to anyone

) Rod Stewart does an amazing job of this american songbook...i have albums 2 and 3 and the first time i heard his first album i remember thinking i know the voice ...and as the tracks went on i thought wow ...i have to collect these..his voice really suits the songs it is so mellow chilled and rich sounding...these are a must for any Rod Stewart fans...
