What can you say about this Box Set?

Rocky - Sylvester Stallone stars in the classic film he wrote about small-time boxer Rocky Balboa, who's given a shot at the big time. Everyone's written him off, including himself, declaring "I'm really a ham and egger" when offered the chance to compete for the heavyweight championship of the world.
Boxing is only a part-time occupation, as his trainer Mickey describes, as a "cheap, second-rate loan shark". The current champion Apollo Creed jumps at the chance of gaining publicity by giving an opportunity to an underdog a title shot.
Stallone gives punch-drunk performances that do nothing for his image. With the addition of a relationship developing between Rocky and a shy girl named Adrian. Once the big fight comes we've seen Rocky endure so much that it seems like a miracle he ever got there. This compulsive drama lends to real tension in an exciting bout that crowns the film.
Rocky II - Stallone returns to his most famous character as writer and director for this tale with a rousing climax. Again the focus is on the drama of the confused hero.
Now officially retired for the sake of a pregnant Adrian, Rocky struggles to find alternative work to support his new expensive lifestyle. Meanwhile Creed isn't enjoying the joke status he's taken on since his humiliation in the ring and goads Rocky back for a rematch. Despite Rocky's bad eye, Mickey caves in and starts to train him up, only for the expectant Adrian to fall into a coma and put a stop to his comeback.
Now well over half way through the film, Adrian's eventual recovery finally ignites the vital fire in Rocky. As the training begins, the film hits its' tone. Yet Apollo maintains the edge in the major bout until Rocky gets going.
Rocky III - Balboa returns as the drama is ditched for adrenalin-fueled entertainment. With the new glamorous lifestyle that Rocky has, you begin to see the now complacent boxer.
Rocky gets his wake-up call when the new hot and hungry underdog Clubber Lang gives him the whipping of his life. With the added departure of Mickey from his life, Balboa is driven into despair. The film is pushed on to make the viewer into believing Rocky will ultimately make his comeback.
Aided by the now friendly Creed, Rocky gets back into a training sequence. With the First attempt being weak and uninspired and the second effort full of mad endurance training that's guaranteed to psyche up even the most miserable viewer. Apollo training Balboa works well as he sets about injecting some grace and finesse into the Italian Stallion. The final bout being quite different to the previous ones.
Rocky IV - The first three Rocky films made perfect sense as a complete trilogy of Balboa's famous life. Therefore it was going to take a remarkable new twist to drag the saga into a fourth installment. The opponent this time was the hulking 'Drago' at 6'6" and 240 pounds. After slaying the wisecracking Apollo Creed, Rocky forces himself out of retirement to go and give Drago a whipping in his home country of Russia.
Rocky V - For the first time Ricky's own body proves the greatest challenge, with Balboa now suffering brain damage. Unable to fight, Rocky moves back to Philadelphia. Balboa opens up Mickey's gym and starts training up the promising boxer Tommy Gunn.
Rocky's protégé turns on him as part of a plan by a promoter who's desperate to goad Balboa back into the ring. You're left with a sad ending to a series that despite its faults was always entertainingly triumphant.
