Robbie Williams - Escapology [PA] (CD 2005)

Escapology was released in 2005, at the peak of his career. Having seen him in concert in 2001, at Old Trafford, I have always had a soft spot for Robbie, cute, quirky, fun and brilliant live, its sad he is no longer in the public eye. Lets hope he is happier and feeling better.

Anyway, this album, has one of my favourite tracks on it - Me and My Monkey, all 7 minutes 12, one worth listening too (and its a grower) else I think (to quote Simon Cowell) that is another musical marmite moment, - you will hate it - or love it

i love robbie williams music but for some reason hadnt bought any of his cds so i decided to invest in them. the cd is fantastic, worth while purchase was nice to listen to some of his older tunes.

i BOUGHT THIS ALBUM TO ADD TO THE ONE I HAD ALREADY BOUGHT. IT WAS AFFORDABLE FOR ME SO I GOT IT TO MAKE UP MY ALBUM COLLECTION.

i love anything by robbie Williams thats why i bought it, I am trying to build up a collection. Loved the cd

Die hard robbie fans will flock to buy this one.....
The best album by Robbie so far includes songs such as Feel, sexed up, monsoon and Come undone.
This man is aging with the supreior extent that his albums are becoming more and more adult and easy to listen too.
He may have issues with his ability to perform and release an excellent song but he truley doesnt need to worry.

This album does start with the very strange track of How peculiar but then that explains itself in the title the hidden track on this album extends the first track and sounds wonderful. Nans song the last on the album that is listed is although sad a relief that someone out there sees things in another light.

Ive listened to the album so many times I know everyword and im still not bored of it.
The great thing about this album is that robbie will not be releasing all of the songs that are on it so if you dont get it you will miss out on some of the best music this year.

My verdict: well worth the money and a classic all the way through.

As a male heterosexual Robbie fan right from the start, ive always noticed a trend with Robbie albums where there seem to be 4 stunning songs on each, and the rest are pretty average, and its always the 4 great ones that get released. A good example is 'Sing While Youre Winning'....great songs like Better Man, Rock DJ, A Love Supreme and Let Love Be Your Energy but the rest are all listenable but not in the same league. Escapology contains a bucketload of songs that would make number 1 quite easily.

Not being a fan of the much over-hyped 'Me and My Monkey' and a couple of other tracks including Nans Song and How Peculiar, the rest of the album is fantastic, especially his best work on the album...Come Undone, and also Monsoon...typical comical catchy Robbie stuff just like the humour in previous records like Strong, No Regrets, and the production class of tracks like Lazy Days.

Easily his best CD to date. Intensive Care seemed a bit sterile and Rudebox came in for a hard time which I can understand, but it highlights the abscence of co-writer Guy Chambers massively. He is definitely one half of Robbie's success.

Each album he brings out i usually love but this is probably my favourite of them all. Must admit im quite a big Robbie fan so would listen to whatever he did but this album has great tunes and a good mixture of songs. Def worth buying. Ive had to buy it twice now so must be worth it

had ths item before but it got lost, love this album and i would reccomend it to anyone hence me buying it again of ebay lol, even if they are not that keen on robbie, if thats even possible. xx

robbies best album by far, this album as got something for everyone, feel, come undone and something beautifut are top ballads. hot fudge and me and my monkey are awesome rock tracks. my personal favourite is nan's song medley song is really beautiful and brings a lump to my throat everytime. every music lover should have this album in their collection. 5**********

Album sympa! Pour les fans, mais le meilleur album de Robbie Williams est bien entendu le greatest hits!

I bought the CD after accidently breaking my original CD and missed listening to the songs in the car. The CD was purchased as it was put on in EBay as a very cheap rate and managed to purchase it at the original cost.Postage was sent very promptly and now can sing along to happily again.

I brought this CD because the one I had broke and its one of my favourite artist, could not be without this CD. top quality.

i like everything about this cd, by far the best out of all of them! some of robbies best work is on this album, i listen to it all the time, i prefere it to the newer albums.

Robbie is my favorite artist, so always good to have a spare copy for the car. and at such bargain prices why not!

I LOVE this Album and still to this day think this is one of Robbie's BEST albums.

There is gorgeous ballard "feel" the pop tunes of "Monsoon" & the hilarious "Me & my Monkey" - total Robbie.

Everytime I listen to this I am blown away by every track, BUY It its AMAZING!

There was not a song on there that I didn't like. There are some real belters - Monsoon and Come Undone being my absoloute favourite Robbie tracks of all time. This CD gets played at least twice a day in my car without fail !!

I bought it because i love robbie williams and i didnt have this album. It was brilliant.i especially love the song something beautiful, the robster at his best.
