Had 2x of these units now, i use 1 for entertainment in our motorhome for viewing video's and this works great along side our 12 volt dvd player with built in screen, and the other i use to record my cctv camera's i have installed around the house, the remote is a full function remote and if needed replaced would only cost around £3-£4 on ebay or a fiver brand new.
Video playback is great and record functio is fantastic, if your looking for a 12/230v video then try this, they really are that good.
