The Ring (DVD 2005)

Hadn't really heard of this before but it sounded good so I bid on it......so glad I did!!!! Brilliant film, keeps you on your toes right to the end!!
At first, I thought it was going to be one of those awful American films like Scary Movie.....but this is way better!!
It genuinely had me a wee bit scared at points and made me want to know what was going to happen next. Gripping!!
My only criticism is the ending......VERY abrupt!!!! You're still left engrosed in the film and then suddenly it just ends.....I felt sad cos I wanted more!!!
Definately bid for this one if you've not seen it before, I loved it!!

really good! need to watch the rest of them now.... a must see film! acting is donr well, and is a bit hide behind your lellow typw film.

A good film brilliant for horror fans, This film is abit weird but you still end up watching it to find out wat happens. You well never watch a tv screen in the same way again BEWARE!!!! (hahaha).

I have already seen the "Standard" version of this DVD, but this one has some great extras which if you enjoyed the film you would probably wish to own.This is, to my mind, simply one of the best horror films i have ever seen.

The Lead Role of Rachel played by Naomi Watts is superb, and for me to say that it must be something special.The Story: A videotape emerges which if seen all the way through means certain death.After the tape is viewed the phone would "Ring" and the rest is left to the imagination.

The plot is quite complicated and probably needs a couple of viewings before you fully understand it, but it is well worth the time as this is a film i will keep going back to, and probably find something new with each viewing.

There is a sequel called amazingly "The Ring 2", but i found this slight disapointing, but this is a hard act to follow, and i hope there are no more sequels coming up.

Finally, you can buy this DVD on Ebay for as little as a Fiver, and i would urge you to give it a try as i think you will be pleasently surprised.Although i would warn you it is a film which sticks to you like moss!.
