Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad (CD 2007)

With new releases from artists and bands, it usually takes a fair few listens before i can judge if i like it or not. But with this record i fell in love from the first play through, which is odd for me. Stretching her beautiful voice from slow sweet ballads such as "Rehab" and "Cry" to dancey upbeat songs such as "Dont stop the music" "Breaking Dishes", this album will appeal to people in to all types of genres. Opening with the smash hit "Umbrella" you'll be hooked like nothing else before.

Rihanna's Third Debut album "Good Girl Gone Bad" is a Amazing Album, I bought it 2 weeks ago, and i have not stopped listening to it since.

1.Umbrella (Featuring.Jay-Z)(10/10) - One of the greatest songs on her album and definately In History, I Love this Song, I keep listening to it everyday,

2.Push Up On Me (9/10) - Another great song on the album,this is one dance/trance tune, which will get you dancing if you put it on real loud...This song, is about this guy, she just met and she wants him to push up on her..

3.Don't Stop The Music (10/10) - I Adore this song soo much! this is one of those songs where you will listen to in clubs!

4.Breakin' Dishes (8/10) - This song, is not to bad, It is okay, there is nothing wrong with the song, but in this song, you can tell straight away looking at the title, that "Rihanna" is angry and mad.

5.Shut Up & Drive (8/10) - This is another good song, i am starting to like it, this style is more R&B/Pop/Rock...

6.Hate That I Love You (Featuring.Ne-Yo) (8/10) - This is soo Ne-Yo Style, he obviously produced it, this is one great song to...I love it, this is more R&B style...

7.Say It (4/10) - I don't know where Rihanna went with this song, I didn't like it, (but im sure others do) this is an R&B song to, who knows? i might grow to like it..

8.Sell Me Candy (10/10) - I LOVE THIS SONG! this song has one proper beat to it, and i love it, the style for this song is more of a R&B style.

9.Lemme Get That (10/10) - Again, another great song, I am sure you can hear Mr.Justin Timberlake on this track,singing the chorus with Rihanna, its cool, I Love it...this style of music is more Reggae & R&B...this song also gets you in the mood for summer..

10.Rehab (10/10) - this song is second best, after Umbrella.. this song is an amazing concoction! Justin Timberlake produced it and wrote it for Rihanna..its got the same style like "What Goes Around..Comes Around"...but i still admire it, the lyrics

11.Question Existing (7/10) - This song, is more about Rihanna herself, if you listen to the lyrics nearer to the end, you get to listen to Rihanna speak her own mind...she starts of by saying "Dear Diary, Its Robyn...." and finishes the song off, i like it...

12.Good Girl Gone Bad (9/10) - This style of music sounds like "Beyonce's Irreplaceable"...its another R&B tune and its admirable...I like it...its about how men dont treat women right, if they dont get treated right, the women will turn bad...(LOL)...

13.Cry (UK Bonus Track) (10/10) - This song shows Rihanna's true talent nearer to the end...its R&B style again.. and its Amazing....

Rihanna has worked really hard on this new album of her's and her music is getting better and better....if you have bought her 2 previous albums (MUSIC OF THE SUN and A GIRL LIKE ME) get this album...you will love it, i did!!

Opening with the smash hit "Umbrella" you'll be hooked like nothing else before. which is really very good, and the other ones like cry are nice aswell, she has an amazing sound, and song selection, however she ain't all that good live, its a defo buy though to be fair...

Not as good as the last album, but still good and worth buying if you like this type of music. There was not much different from the last album, that is why it was a bit disappointing.

Good solid album with some really good songs for once, the dance cd is really a good version. But lets not get carried away, she aint no beyonce.

I don't really know what to write in a review but it's a great Cd for teenage listeners like myself =)

Love or hate her umbrella song , this album is a must have to your music collection. Personally i love the umbrella song as its upbeat and always brings a smile to my face even on the darkest of days. Great album to have pumping full blast on your car stereo and an absolute must have on your ipod.
"Don't stop the music" is an awesome track perfect for getting into the weekends with.

This album has a good variety of songs from the typical r'n'b party songs to the more emotively written and personal question existing. A brilliant album.

You've heard and enjoyed her two previous albums and prior to purchase you're wondering is she might just have sold out to the commercial world of POP culture with her third album.
No concerns there i can assure you.....
Good Girl Gone Bad is her third and latest offering featuring collaborations with other huge R&B artists/producers such as Timbaland and Stargate. Definitely a more upbeat album than her previous two offerings but in no way has she or does she seem to sell out to POP.
Striking vocals with striking looks to match. What more could you ask for from such a wonderful talent, already awaiting her new work with keen eagerness.
Get shopping and grab a bargain, you won't be disappointed.
