As a fan of The Almighty, I was keen to see what Ricky Warwick's solo material sounded like, so I bought this in order to find out.
As an album it sits neatly in Bruce Springsteen, John Cougar, Ryan Adams territory, which to me, is a good thing.
The album as a good mix of middle of the road rock, a tinge of folk and contains fine foot-tapping songs that are great to drive to.
All in all, a real fine album!

No matter what genre of music you lean towards there is little doubt you'll love this album.

Each song tells a story. Ricky writes from the heart, about personal experiences and times in his life. Great lyrics.

Anyone who knows Ricky's band The Almighty may expect a heavy sounding album and may well be a little surprised to find this is an acoustic guitar based singer/songwriter kinda thing with various styles, some songs are folky, some a little country, some are bluesy.
They all go really well together to make up an awesome album.

My favourites are: "Minor Miracles", "Three Sides to Every Story", "The Church of Paranoia" and my favourite is "Ending Is Better Than Mending".

Can't recommend it highly enough. 5 stars!!!
