Rich Man, Poor Man - Book 1 - Complete (DVD 2002)

I decided to buy this DVD as I saw it for sale on ebay and I remembered how much I enjoyed this TV series all those yeas ago. I was a bargain price and I thought I would probably watch it more than once. Having just seen it again I am really pleased I bought it as it was as good as I remembered. Although a bit dated now well worth watching.

I purchased this dvd after talking about old tv series that used to make us tune in each week.A number of work friends remembered this series and some didnt,now its in the process of being passed round the office.All reviews so far are excellent and wish they would make more of the same excellent quality and entertainment tv programmes today.It was excellent value for money after searching e bay for this dvd.Will certainly be searching for some more golden oldies in the near future.Thanks to E Bay!!!!

I decided to buy the DVD's because i remember watching them when i was younger. I enjoyed them then and enjoyed the this time as well.

Still has an up to date feel about, despite the clothes!I thoroughly enjoyed this mini series, it has it all, love , hate, money, revenge and power!! The characters are well written and translated well from the book.My main disappointment is series 2 is not available yet, hopefully this will change soon.

Great to find this on dvd, took me back to my childhood. Now to be enoyed by another generation.Bought this as an early christmas present for my mother who religiously watched this back in the 70's. She will pass it on to her grand daughter once she has rewatched it.

remembered watching this in 1976 and have never watched it again great to view again with a young Nick Nolte and Peter Straus great series

Loved every minute of it - the storyline becomes more and more complex about 2 brothers, their loves, children and a ill-fated brush with one man who changed both their lives forever.

Great chance to watch a classic drama again and all in one sitting if I could stay awake that long. They do'nt make them like this anymore. A truly gripping production which covers a very changing period in history.Great story.
