Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication (CD 1999)

This is one fantastic album. I brought a copy on eBay because mine was totally worn out, switching between the home Hi-Fi, personal CD player and the Car!

Highly recommended.

i have known this band for manyyears bu never took much interest of them till i saw them at a open air gig supporting runrig up at lochness scotland it was then i took to theire music and have now got by the way and he greatest its and was told californication is the best,

the cd and its case were in perfect condition, realy quick shipping at a great price and a great cd.

Every track is superb, great songs to make you feel good all the time. The first six tracks are the best i have heard from the 'chili peppers'. Parallel Universe in particular is a top track!

WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT THE CHILIS APART FROM ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. GREAT ALBUM ESPECIALLY TRACKS SUCH AS SCAR TISSUE AND ROAD TRIPPIN. WELL WORTH BUYING.

This was my all time favourite Chilli's album and after waiting for it to magically appear back in it's case for 6 months after it went missing I had to replace it!!

Arguably one of the chilis best albums, second only to Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

All the chilis classics are included in this album, if you are a chilis fan or you are new to the band this album is a must have! If you dont recognise a song or two on this album then your haven't lived!

Definetly one to buy and leave in the cd player on repeat!

The Chili peppers are the sort of band you are heavily into...or know next to nothing about! I love this album, and if I wanted to turn someone on to the chili peppers, this would make a good starting point. Californication, just put it on at work, keep it in the car, play it while you cook, soon those first unfamiliar tracks will seep into your mind. Soon you'll hear just how perfect they sound, how militant, how cool, how exciting, how sexy. Just everything you could ever want from a disc of plastic. Make your life a freaky-styly place for the price of a bottle of wine!

One of my favourite albums from early 2000.Very unique sounding band that are very different to anything else about.Californication was a massive hit at the time and one that i remember vividly because of the video they used for this song where they all end up inside a computer game playing themselves.Clever video and very good song.

This is the Red Hot Chili Peppers at their best. Californication is a must in any alternative rock fans' collection.

Just an amazin album. no need to say anything else!! try it, you'll love it, at there best. a chili's fan would not be complete without this album

So most people enjoy One Hot Minute, i thought it was ok. Not amazing.

This album if you love any new Chili peppers or anything from Blood Sugar Sex magik. This is the album for you.

The riffs are outstanding, catchy and most of the album makes you want to get up and dance. But still with the chili peppers there is variety and the odd slow ballad does not go a miss. The only problem i can find is there is odd distortion that occurs but that is due to the mastering process. I can live with it its just annoying.

Amazing Album, the best in sound and feeling with the new Stadium Arcadium...buy it and love rock forever!

I had kinda forgotten about the Chillis until the new album came out a couple of months ago. Hearing they were back on the scene again made me want to listen to some of the older stuff. Unfortunately I found that this album had been misplaced from my collection whilst at uni so undoubtedly had to be repurchased!!!

Some people think By the Way is the Chillis best album but whilst I like it, I love this one. Every song is great I never skip a track - to me that is the sign of a great album.

This is the best album they have made, well worth all the prices ebay are selling them for. If you have a few pounds spare, I would really invest in this album.
