this cd is excellent. it is and older chili peppers album, quite different to their more recent Cd's. it has a funky vibe to it.definitely worth a listen.

I am a fan of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, & the Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic cd was ahead of its time, fantastic tunes. I dont seem to find it in the stores for a reasonable price, so the fact i could get it n ebay at a great price, very happy.

This is most definately one of the Red Hot Chili Peppers greatest albums! The combination of Kiedis' lyrics over Flea's and John's funky rhythms is an absolute delight to the ears. This album possibly has the most passion and sexual tension of all of the albums with songs such as, Sir Psycho Sexy and My Lovely Man forcing you to jump about and sing along.

this album is very original, funky, and is clearly their best work, john frusciante shines thorugh with his awesome unique guitar playing,, it is one of the best recordings as well, the drums sound so alive. highly recommended if you are a fan of rhcp and have missed out on this one, its a completey different sound compared ot their new stuff and is extremely catchy and addictive, LOVE IT!!! =]

Antoher fantastic album from the Chilli's.
A must for Any true Chilli's fan. Much better than the crap they make these days.
Album contains 'Under the bridge' which is I think one of the best Chilli peppers songs ever.

I am re-buying this from e-bay as I lost the CD somehow. Despite the fact that this CD dates back 17 years it is a must have CD for all music lovers. Quite simply it is one of the greatest, funkiest albums ever.

This is the album which really got the Chili's noticed. With classics like Under the Bridge and Give It Away, they became a phenomenon. One of their funkiest albums, and possibly their greatest. Of you like funk, rock, punk, madness and down-right awes0me music, then this is for you!

Blood Sugar Sex Magik: masterpieceThe best crossover that i ever listened. This album is so simple but it sounds great. Song like give it away or under the bridge or i could have lied or blood sugar sex magik are so wonderful. I like the way which it has been registered, and anthony lyric are so wonderful both to listen and to understand. I like this one the funkiest Flea and chad's work. Also John play so funk in this album. This masterpiece has been composed in the better red hot chili peppers' moment, which is fallen the next year, and come back with Californication and Stadium Arcadium. This is a must have absolutely.

bouncing bass lines, grooving guitar riffs and funky vocals combined together make this album one of the chili peppers greatest albums to date. an exciting album that shows the energy of this band so well. each song is absurdly different. this album reflects the ealier works of the chili's but also shows the changing sound and it is a true reflection of the bands genious. an album that can not be expressed in words. however some of the tracks on the album are not for the easily offended. all in all it isa very diverse album that is a necessity for any fan of the bands music. i mean i have two copies of it :P

The masterpiece that is The Chili PeppersI've loved the Chili Peppers since I was in sixth form and first heard the Californication album right the way through - it defined my summer that year. I've bought all their albums since and decided it was time to work backwards so Blood Sugar Sex Magik was my most recent Chili Peppers purchase...it is fantastic. The CD takes you through so many different times and emotions, and is a mixture of songs with Keidis's trademark rapping and some great singing. My recommendation?...read Anthony Keidis's autobiogaphy, Scar Tissue, it explains this whole album (amongst others) and the thoughts, feelings and experiences behind it, and is a fantastic honest read. BIG THUMBS UP!
