Album Notes With producer Timbaland and guest singer Justin Timberlake on board, Duran Duran wrote and recorded this 2007 release entirely in the aftermath of the 2006 departure of songwriter/guitarist Andy Taylor. The album balances modern production values with a retro new wave feel, conjuring the glossy magic of '80s-era Duran Duran, right down to the cheesy and misogynistic cover art. I think it is too synthetic and the sound really 'sounds' a bit off the Duran's track. Do we have to expect even Simon's voice to be digitezed next?! Really not their best, more close to their worst!
