Real Genius (DVD 2002)

I bought this dvd to see just what Val Kilmer was like in his early films. It is unusual for Val, in that there is so much humour! Not the usual thriller, blood and gore, that have been present in many of his later films. I thoroughly enjoyed this far fetched romp, which kept me amused form start to finish. Although it deals with quite a serious topic - student exploitation and also weapons of destruction, it is done in a really humourous way. I wish there were more films showing this side of Val, a very talented actor, even in these early days.

Bought this item because of a lyric in a Bowling for Soup song and a passing mention in mythbusters. Thoroughly enjoyed this eighty's geeks are cool style movie. Laughed myself silly and reminised about the feeling you had as a kid like you were gonna change the world. Kids enjoyed it too.
