Ratatouille (DVD)

This was the best family film I saw all year in 2007. What seems at first a simple story about a rat who wants to cook, turns out in fact to be something more, deeper and more subtle. It was funny, charming, and also very touching. The animation was truly stunning and both my Wife and children aged 8 and 13 loved it. Wonderful.

Fantastic kids film. I am a childminder always on the look out for up to date films on ebay. This was new and sealed up and played well.

Great CGI comedy film suitable for the whole family, as per usual with PIXAR excellent production values.


Plot Summary:


Remy (Patton Oswalt), a rat blessed with an extraordinary sense of smell and dreams of becoming a chef, like his hero Anton Gusteau (Brad Garrett).

Events conspire to split Remy from his tribe and lead him roaming the streets of Paris and finding work in a Anton Gusteau’s restaraunt

Now, what could go wrong, a rat preparing food in a gourmet restaurant?

Wounderful film made only the way Disney/Pixar know how entertainment value is 10/10 .kept my two girls entertained for the full duration well worth a view.Why not treat the kids have a family night in and watch this as it wont disapoint.

This is one of the best Disney/Pixar DVDs I have seen for a long time. I am an avid Disney fan especially the classics but this DVD is different, more adult but I would still recommend it for older children. The film is colourful and fast moving ... no slow boring bits as in some films.

When Remy's passion for cooking turns the haughty world of French cuisine upside down, the rat who would be king of the kitchen learns important lessons about life, friends, and family while questioning whether he should pursue his culinary calling or simply go back underground and return to his life as a sewer rat.
I liked this film as it was funny and so cute! Even adults would enjoy this,i did and i'm 22!
Also includes special features and deleted scenes.
I love this film so i'm going to give it an impressive 10/10! Definetly one for my christmas list!

Awesome movie my little boy cant get enough! Another great flick by those Disney boys, adults n kids will love it, tho my 2 year holds hides behind his blanket when the old lady at the begining goes crackers with a shot gun at the rats, best bit for us is the the moped chase with chef chasing Remy the rat through paris, LINGUINE!!!

As with all disney DVD's this film is good for all ages has humour for all.
Keeps me and my 2 children entertained every time I see it, disc 2 has some entertaining items too.

This is a great film for children and adults. My whole family very much enjoyed this film even my 4 year old sat through the whole film and enjoyed every minuet of it.
Its based on one of the worlds greatest French chefs but through a rat under a chefs hat. Very clever and funny if you've not yet seen this film I highly recommend it(even if you don't have kids)there's humor for all levels.

bought ratatouille for my son but it was poor quality it kept stopping and had to be cleanedevery time.

this product was just what i was looking for,it arrived in good condition and was a very quick delivery.I would certainly purchase other simmilar items.

Excellent film for all ages.This is right up their in my top 10 animations so go watch it or buy it and watch it over and over again!! well done pixar and disney.

I bought this dvd for my 2 year old, she saw a trailer for the film & liked the rat. Ever since we bought it, its been on non stop! Every time we watch it there's something new, that we didn't catch the other times round. Would recommend it for all ages! Its very funny

fantastic all rounder for the whole family! keeps kids glued for the entire film and enough adult humour to keep you from leaving your chair. bought this item as im a fan of new annimated films.

I have been wanting to watch this Pixmar film for a long time and when I saw it on eBay I was smitten. But as I said above, it turned out to be a rented copy, not owned by the seller. I am writing to Love Film to ask them if they would like it back.

Loved this film, it was entertaining for both adult and child alike.
Great graphics and story kept the kids interested.

If you a fan of childrens animations you will love this. I'm sorry Stuart Little but your no longer my favourite rodent, Chef remy has out shon you by a mile.
With child friendly characters and even the odd baddy included in the superb animations any kid or even those big kids like me will love it.

A film for all the family 5 out of 5 and even includes a seperate bonus dvd.

One of the best animation films. Good story, well told. Children will love it, partly because its got Rats and Garbage in it and kids seem to love the combination.

i bought it because it is a funny, family film, i enjoyed watching it with my 5yr old son. and my son enjoyed it too.

I have never received the above title, paypal are dealing with the dispute at the moment - I think the people I bought it from are no longer with Ebay. I paid for the item but have never received it - is there anything you can do for me? It has put me off using Ebay altogether!

I love this dvd because it is funny and fun for the whole family.
