* The size is awesome — totally small enough to be pocketable, but not too small where sacrifices on the keyboard had to be made.
* Unlike the Bold where some people had trouble hitting the right convenience key since it was too low, on the Curve 8900, it’s located perfectly.
* The screen is flawless! It’s smaller than the Bold, and that’s an even denser, crisper, and sharper display in our books. Really a job well done.
* The keyboard is better than the first Curve. The keys feel more “fuller” and not hollow like the original 8300 did. They’re also decently spaced. Another great execution by RIM.
* The fake chrome bezel around the 8900 actually seems like it’s more equipped to handle rough usage than the Bold is. It looks like a tougher material or finish.

This is the best thing i have ever purchased on ebay, bar some other things. I couldnt wait to get my hands on it, and there is nothing not to like. it took me minutes to figure out how to work it. And the big screen just makes it way better.
Most of all tho apart from a fear of breaking it (personal ocd side to myself) i love flashing it about, makes me seem rather superior!

I have been using a Blackberry 8320 for a few months now before the Curve 8900 was released. After having much thought, I decided to invest in one and I have no regrets! The device feels very different, it is very lightweight (and not a brick!). Whereas the 8320 is very solid, the 8900 is slimmer, the graphics on the screen are much, much clearer. It's overal aesthetic is quite sexy too I must say!

It just feels better to hold a Curve 8900, rather than my previous 8320.

Has everything.Had some trouble sorting my internet browser on it but everything else is pretty easy to get the hang of.Nice and light weight too

Upgrading from a Curve 8310, I can say that it was a well worth investment at an incredible price.
One of the main reasons why I go for the BlackBerry is the amazing battery life, it lasts for about 3-4 days heavy usage which is great.
However, beware of the OEM leather case that comes with the phone; there are reported problems with it draining the battery life so if you want to protect your BB, use something else other than the leather case provided.

I wasn't impressed by the false presentation of metal rim which proved to be nothing but just silver coating of plastic and though the graphics and the sound output are great, its still nothing new from the previous models.
Great you can play MP3 and WMA but the bad news is not the WMV unless converted in another format MPG4 or itune format but the problem is these conversion softwares cost a fortune.
The bluetooth configuration and all other features remains pretty much a mess. But that i mean not straight forward as any one who has ever owned a blackberry of any model would know.
Well i will do the brain behind the technology a favour and say overall there is a change but the changes in my opinion are still pretty much generic and cosmetic.That is because i use mine on pay as go but i believe to enjoy the full range of blackberry technology, you need to be on contract with your network provider.

This phone was advertised as new by the seller,but when Sim card was put in to activate it was obvious the phone had been used. When activating the web browser there was history of many sites visited over the past weeks. Anyone advertising "as new" when the item is not should be blacklisted by e.bay.

I like the display clarity, it is laser sharp and very bright. Overall performance is very good. I like it very much.

i would recomend this phone to anyone it just does everything you want it to for business and for fun once you get used to using the blackberry you wont look back.

i like it because it has everithing, mail, aplications such as facebook, messenger, iskoot for skype great quality of sound and is easy to surf the internet with it.

having decided i could not stand my Xperia X1, i decided to sell it and opt for a blackberry. Initially, i chose this phone for it's decent price, and its good looks. However this is quite possibly the best phone i've ever owned! After overcoming the dreaded "clock" as i waited for the phone to actually turn on (this is the worst part about the phone & is very annoying as it takes around 5 minuets to turn on) i discovered a surprisingly friendly use interface. Everything on this phone is easy to follow and there's not really any technical jargon which i found the Xperia had a lot of. Once you've called your network and set up your instant Email your ready to go. One of my favorite features about this phone is blackberry messenger, you can keep in touch with anyone you know with a blackberry - for free! With the phone only having a 3.2mp camera, i wasn't expecting any miracles,however i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pictures you can take. The clear high-resolution screen keeps everything looking bright, and just generally makes the phone look better. In conclusion, i would highly recommend this phone for anyone who wants a good smartphone thats simple to use for a good price.
