RIM Blackberry 8110 Cell Phone

great size and weight and brilliant camera is pretty simple to use and has every function you will need best phone on the market in my opinion

I wanted to be able to get my e-mails whilst I was out and about, so I decided to explore Blackberry mobile phones. However, they were expensive to purchase so I looked on e-bay to find one within my price range. I have to say I was surprised by the number for sale and a little dubious about buying a still quite expensive item but I found a seller with good reviews and went for it. The phone is brilliant - certainly the best phone I have ever owned. It does everying I need it to, the keyboard (once you get used to it) is really easy and the phone seems to learn your favourite and most used words very quickly indeed. Camera is good, and the music tone pretty good too. I had no problem setting it up to get my e-mails and I love the way you can share pictures and tunes from your computer without any hassle. All in all it's been an excellent purchase and I would recommend the 8110 - I only use it for personal use so I suspect it could do a lot more if I needed it to. It also has satnav which is great!

Only difficulty I had was getting the satnav working - took me a few phone calls to Vodafone - but its fine now. That wasn't the fault of the phone, of ocurse - something to dowith the software having been pre-owned, which is always a possibility when you're buying reconditioned or second hand.

Very good smartphone and very easy to use, with excellent email client, I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants to send and recieve emails

what i thought was a simple problem of a simlock, appeared to be a phone that was barred in UK! none of sim card is working and the phone is a piece of scrap. tried to sort the case over email but no response. regrets ive put good feedback a bit too soon...

its a nice phone travel pack/case looks bril with the phone, allot of features inc email - push, bluetooth, camera ect...
quite hard to use the different features, need to make it more simpler.
8/10 overall for this phone.

it is a pretty decent phone easy to put music and videos on the keyboard is not very easy to use if you want a blackberry go for one with a proper qwerty keyboard
all in all its a OK phone i bought it because my iphone broke

This phone is brilliant, does everything that I want and more. I had the HTC HD which does just too much and sold it for this. I'm glad I have buttons back rather than a touch screen. Shame TomTom doesn't support the Blackberry though.

Just love the Sonar Beep sound it has. A faster operating system than its predecessor 8100, slightly heavier too than the 8100.

Finally, if you use it once, you can't go to anything else.

The 8110 is a great phone packed full of features, the qwerty keypad will take you a while to get used to, even if you do type everyday but once you get the hang of it, you won't be able to live without it.

i decided to sell the phone which i only just bought the week befour as i couldent use it i put on ebay and after receiving scam e-mails i posted the phone i lost the phone the postage money and felt not enough was done about it at the time it was a very bad exeriance for me

I wanted a replacement phone mostly for voice & SMS but for occasional emailing and even more occasional web browsing. The GPS facility was a bonus. All fine but support on the web seems to assume that a Blackberyy user will have everything set up for him/her by a corporate geek; as a rsult the on line info is not as "Janet and John" as I would have liked. Fortunately my son-in-law is an IT expert and ex Blackberry user so all sorted. It's what I needed at a fraction of the cost of an i-phone, which I would probably just lose anyway.

Good phone, but was a bit difficult to get used to it after Nokias and Sony Ericssons. Really easy to write text massages, very comfortable keyboard. Would be better if the camera would be more quality, but even though is o'k.
