It's very expensive, however, I found www.freeiphoneforme.co.uk and got one for free!

As you probably know, it's an expensive item for what it is... But, I didn't exactly pay for mine because I found a totally legal way of getting gifts like this for free!

Visit: www.freeiphoneforme.co.uk

I'm still receiving gifts like this, simply by completing just one offer like the LOVEFILM free trial. There are many other offers that you can also complete. I personally think that the Coral Bookmakers offer is the best to choose as it is quick and fun!

There are many other gifts on this site aswell, not just this product, you can get any consoles, HDTVs, iPods, iPhones, you name it, you can probably get it. You can even get cheques or Bank Transfers!
Take a look as I found it very helpful:

I was so ecited to recieve my phone from seller 72jugg (Kev) he sent it on time and everything was there..the phone seemed in perfect condition,no scratches or anything, just like he said..but when I came to charge it it wouldn't recognise a charger..So i messaged him asking if he'd experienced any problems with it and if so could he advise me on how to make it work..to which I got no reply. So I took it into an 02 shop and now I have to send it away to get fixed for a week maybe 2...so I have been excited and looking forwadr to recieving my phone and now I have to be without it for this amount of time..I still have had no response..It's a shame as I was happy with every other aspect of the sale.. :(

This is a cracking piece of kit, although you do need to subscribe to internet access and the Blackberry mail to get the full benefit (if you don't want these features then get an ordinary phone). GPS is a bit weak in built up areas but this has been resolved with a bluetooth GPS receiver that will pick up a strong signal even inside a building. Will also work if it is a pocket or bag, so plug in the headphones and just listen to the directions with the phone in your pocket.

Battery life is also good with a charge lasting an average of 3 days with a reasonable amount of use.

  love this phone!
Review created: 18/11/08

I love this phone, I bought it to replace my 8700 and its just amazing, everything works brilliant and most Curves can take a maximum of 12gb external memory so you can have HUNDREDS of songs on your phone!

The condition mine is in when sold was fantastic and the communication with the seller was amazing too, she was very sweet and she let me know everything.

The only poor thing with the phone is that it can be a little glitchy and freeze (which ensues a battery pull) but thats my only MINOR gripe

  BlackBerry Curve 8310

Great smartphone, excellent for emails, texts, and internet.
It has a nice, big bright screen that is perfect for reading texts and viewing webpages on, and the trackball makes it a great internet experience and is also easy to use.
This phone has a full QWERTY keyboard which is great - compared to standard keyboards used on normal phones. I've found this is much more easier to use, and it also takes a couple of minutes to get used to as it is just the same as your laptop/computer keyboard!
It is also fully customisable, with applications and themes that you can download via USB or OTA (no WIFI on the 8310, so you will need a data plan from your service provider if you want to download via OTA).
I feel that this phone is very sturdy and reliable, the OS is great. This is why BlackBerries are so well known and higly rated. If there's a time where your BlackBerry is unresponsive, this can be fixed by a quick battery pull - this involves taking the battery out and just popping it back in the phone again, and it's fine.
The 8310 has a 2 megapixel camera. It's not great, but not incredibly bad either. A annoying thing is that everytime you take a photo there is a shutter noise, for security reasons which cannot be turned off. I think there is a downloadable application to bypass this though.
The battery life is outstanding. I went on my phone most of the day just texting, surfing the internet and using applications, and it only used 15% of the battery. Just a quick plug into your USB in your computer or your wall socket and it takes about half a hour to charge.
The phone will come with it's own BlackBerry leather case. I find this is vital for your blackberry, if your phone doesn't come with one of these, get one! It's sturdy and hardwearing, plus, if you don't have a case, you could risk damaging the trackball. Without this your BlackBerry is virtually unusable. With the holster, it also automatically puts your BlackBerry on standby mode whilst inside, this saves battery life too.
In conclusion, I would highly rate this phone. It is slim enough to fit into your pocket, but stable enough to organise events and communicate with others. The only downside is lack of Wifi. If this is a big problem for you, I suggest you get a 8320.

  Brilliant Blackberry Phone

I have been looking to get a Blackberry Phone for my T-Mobile sim without having to be tied down to a contract. This unlocked Blackberry - orignally for vodafone - came as the answer to my prayers. It is very brilliant however, because certain things were built for the purpose of vodafone, I am unable to actualise the full potential of this phone. It is still brilliant though and I am enjoying it so far. Recommended****

I was very happy about this purchase because i managed to win the bid paying a quarter of the price that i would pay if i got it in the shop. It has performed well no problems at all. The internet and gps don't work at all unless u have a contract sim card which i was unaware of at the time, but the full qwerty keyboard is the best bit about the mobile makes txting much easier.
happy bidder!

Love the flexibility and I'm falling in love with it! At first I was a bit scared of it, only having previously owned Nokias, but the whole set up is brilliant and it can be used like an IPod if you buy an 8Gb Memory Card separately. Internet access is initially through Blackberry and as I am with Orange (my phone was bought unlocked and I put my Orange simcard in) I had to contact Orange to get the connection with Blackberry set up with a Sim update. I get 6 months free on the Blackberry service through Orange and then Orange will charge me £5 a month for the Blackberry service. I consider that quite reasonable.

I am not a youngster as I am 60 years old but I am very computer literate having owned a computer since 1994 and used the internet since 1996, and I think you would need to be if you are contemplating buying this phone so as to get the most from it. It uses a trackball to navigate the menu and this is as easy to use as a mouse. It takes super photos and it is also easy to send pictures if you want to. I am still discovering things on it and all in all I find it a brilliant phone and well worth the investment.

Blackberry Curve 8310 - Best phone I've ever owned
Review created: 15/07/09
by:
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.

After owning a trail of different phones this year from the Orange SPV M600 to the Nokia 6300 and a few Sony Ericsson's I really can't praise this phone enough.

I chose to buy one second hand off ebay and get it unlocked for less than £4.

If you get one and try to register it with your blackberry email service and it says it's already registered the previous owner needs to ring their network and get the phone de associated with the network. The network can do it instantly. After I'd sorted this and got it unlocked everything else has been a breeze.

The blackberry's operating system is super smooth and fast. Email is instant. I have it set up with MSN Messenger, BB Messenger, Google Maps and Opera Mini...all of which are free to download (depending on your data tarif) and installation is easy.

From the very basic functions of being used as a mobile phone to the more specific features like gps, email and online browsing, I am yet to find a fault with this device.

The only thing that takes time is booting up, but by heck, its worth the wait.

If you get one get yourself on crackberry ....its an internet site dedicated to these Blackberry devices. If you can't find an answer on there, you're asking the wrong question :D

Awesome phone, brilliant battery life and I haven't put it down yet, actually fell asleep with it last night

If you're into your phones, like I am, and you want a phone that literally does everything, buy a blackberry! You won't be disappointed!

Awesome phone, top quality, five stars!!!!!

I bought the phone as my previous one broke. I find the phone easy to use and whilst having resisted a blackberry for some time, this one is great.

The only frustration is always having to put the phone in the cover. It would great if the blackberry had a cover which is permanently on

I'm not a technophobe but I'm not really into bits of 'equipment' but this phone has made a world of difference to how I am able to work - and thats really saying something! I now am able to answer all mails when I have time during the day rather than have to spent time in the evenings when I come home. My day is finishing earlier. I dont need my laptop during the day now, dont have to find somewhere with wireless connection and pay that fee, by paying my phone provider I am able to save money as its only a fiver a month extra and I was paying more than that a week for wireless - wasn't doing my figure any good as most of the time I was in McDonnalds! so to sum it up Its a great phone, fantastic work tool, once you've got the hang of it quite easy to operate - GO GET ONE!!

what do I like about this phone... Hmmm... well itd be easier to say what i dislike, and that is only the size. It's a pretty chunky chubby phone, but i guess thats to fit the keyboard in it. the phone has the best internet service on a phone ive owned yet. you can get the internet pretty much anywhere. I'm on o2 and recently went to the lake district and could still get the internet in the middle of nowhere. the menu system is a bit vast, unlike my last phone which had everything in about 12 sections in the menu screen. however the blackberry has like 50 in the menu which is a bit frustrating when you're trying to look for something. ive yet to find out if you can personalise the menu system...but if there isnt then it would be cool for the next model. overall its a great phone 10/10

Joing the Blackberry Nation - I <3 my 8310 Smartphone
Review created: 10/07/09
1 of 1 people found this review helpful.

I bought this phone on eBay for a reasonable price and was sooooo worried about the horror stories I had heard about buying anything over £20 pounds on eBay, especially electronics. Nonetheless, I went along with a hope and a prayer and received a Blackberry 8310 Smartphone in great condition, with a copy of the original receipt and box with all the bits and bobs. I love it! I have been unable to put my Blackberry down. The seller sent it via recorded delivery all packaged safely and the phone hasn’t given me any problems as yet. I am very very pleased I made the decision to buy it and my friends are envious of the price I got it for.

The functions are great and I would recommend getting apps installed, there are some great ones out there. BB Messenger is awesome and I have Gtalk, Yahoo messenger etc all installed. Also if you have a line rental account with BB services the push email will be available, you will either love it or hate it. Having emails flashing all day isn’t for everyone but hey its a BLACKBEERY.

I am happy with my purchase to say the least!
