RIM BlackBerry 8700g

Right, Where do i start.

Well the blackberry 8700G is an all round excellent business phone. it incorporates all the things you would need weather that be e-mailing, text messaging and so forth. i purchased my blackberry of ebay second hand for about £32 which is a very decent price for a 8700G, i got it because i needed a business solution while incorporating it in to everyday life.

Bad Things About The Phone and Why Bad Things About Buying Off Ebay Second Hand.

Bad Things about the phone? you ask? well for me none the only problem is the keys can be small for a people with slightly larger fingers. also i am reviewing the phone on the 4.2 OS, where it adds many features including Bluetooth File Transfer and a few extra themes

Buying Off Ebay.

Problem with the Blackberry's is that if you are a business user often the company will activate the phones PIN with there company/carrier for business features like instant email and server access, but when it comes to selling many of the seller out there don't realize it still been activated and thus cannot activate with our own servers and then you get the annoying Data Service Unavailable or something like that and there i no way to get rid of it unless you upgrade to another OS and thus it needs to be activated again. what you will need to do is get the seller to get in contact with the company or the carrier to deactivate the pin so then you can reactivate with your company. but if its not activated you dont get the web and some features, not to worry though change the phones APN and your ready to go and browsing the net and have the web features.

Screen Quality: 10/10 (forgot the mention the screen is very high quality)
Sound: 8/10 (sound volume seems to have dropped a little but 10/10 if on 4.1 OS)

I needed a phone that did not have a camera, [due to working in restricted areas], but was still able to do things like e-mail, this phone is perfect for me.

It is easy to use - i often found that smartphones that used Windows Mobile where very slow to turn on.

I have one word to describe this phone - great!
