RIM BlackBerry® 7230™

the black berry 7230 i brought because it is a kind of a bussiness type phone so i can get quick and easy access to the internet on the go it is also useful for txts messages as it has a qwerty keypad on the downside it is quite big and not so easy to mae calls withj overall i would give the phone 3 out of 5

So bought this phone after reading on-line reviews. c net.com is one such site. Was a little sceptical because of how old the phone is. It does all the basics really well though. After talking to the O2 shop they said you can still recive the e mails to the phone for an extra £5 a month, not to bad if you need your emails. The alarm is good as well and the calander function also works really well. Really easy to use and gives you good reminders at the times you set it to. It is a little on the fat side but for a phone this old would say its a good buy for the price.

All in all I give this phone 10 out of 10. If you want a good no nosence phone then this is for you.

Handset good, bit disapointed with accesories not origanal box and no ENGLISH manuals for the phone although that didnt matter because the manuals were for the other phone that was meant to be in the box. No origanal case or accesories. Got ripped off on postage I paid £4 for P&P and on package it says it cost the seller £2.14 which is unacceptable for a good eBay seller to do. Over all i think for what i paid for the product i got what i expected however would i buy from her again no. Hope this help

not a very good phone at all, is a tad tempermental as to whether it wants to work or not.
menu is not as good as say nokia, and the wheel system took lots of getting used to.
i thought this would make my job a little easier, being able to send and receive e-mails while out on site, instead of spending hours in the office.
but it doesnt. not even good to use as a note-pad. i have put this phone into a draw with all the other lost phones i have and will go back to using a pda, much easier to sync to your laptop.

Well were to start, i brought the phone simply because my Nokia N95 screen cracked making it not impossible but difficult to read text messages, so i came onto ebay in search of another phone and came across this. including postage it came to about £17 i then payed another £3 for a charger, and for a cheap phone (total £20) its working very well and is impressing me alot. in all fairness its not the prettiest phone, it doesnt have all the latest gadgets and specs, but you know what it does? it does the job, and my god does it do it well.

i would recommend this phone to anyone who doesnt need loads of gadgets or a camera to anyone, its batery seems to last forever .... it also has power saving options for when you need it to last just that extra day or two, for instance you have the option of turning the backscreen light on or off (the phone doesnt automatically do it unless it is dark). You also have the option if you want to be connected to the phone network, (when a phone tries to connect to a network it can take alot of batery life!) Also means you can avoid being called and text messages when you really dont need them (for example in a meeting, or in an exam!)

Eitherway the phone itself is great, the only issue is the girlfriend doesnt like it ;) (means she wont steal it :))

Why did I buy it?Frankly,I don't know.It was a true impulse buy;the name has a certain cachet and it was very cheap,Makes texting a doddle -when I bother to text- neat lay out .Can't resist a bargain The problem with Ebay is it makes spending money far too easy

Well my trusted windows mobile fell in half a cup of coffee & being on benifit & tring to run a flat ect i had to get a cheap but functional mobile,£10.35 cant grumble at that for a blackberry even if it is old as the ark..works a treat and probaly is to wide to fit in trhe coffee mug ha ha

quick delivery considering postal strike, well packaged from seller. the item itself, blackberry 7230 is very good, easy to use and reliable. this item is especially appropriate for someone with a busy schedule, as the item has various handy applications such as a diary, calender, task organiser etc.

It really cool, a good price for a qwerty keyboard phone. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the screen is quite dim.

i like the phone that was why buy it but the seller nrver send the phone to me afther get my money what i dislike about this is ebay office most look at every one seller goods on ebay web seit are poples who we get money for goods and send the goods to the buying am waiting to hear from this seller but it look like he is happy playing game with me and he will not send the item i paid for and he will not give me my money back and it look to me that ebay office is suppoint this seller becuase i had report this to them for sometime i hear noting from them this need to be look into befcr it put the good name of the company in other pople bad book

i bought it for a friend but it was very poor and he does not use it. however the seller was good and it was sent out fast

Great Phone for emails. I know it isn't the smallest phone on the market but i prefer the full keyboard on this to the newer models. Easy to use and very robust. What it may lack in style it makes up with functionality and usability.

i bought this item as i needed it and the item description was wat i was looking for but wen the item was recevied it was not as described.

blackberry is a top phone i never dream of owing one so when i saw one at that price i just had to have it. it easy to use after taking it to a shop for help how to use it. its being great ever since. thank you.

This phone first strikes the owner as an outstanding piece of technology. These views are quickly deminished by the lack of media features, the lack of camera, the poor synchronising process and the lack of proper bluetooth features. All in all this product struck down my pre dreamlike views of the fabled blackberry and showed me that average phones are better, cheaper and more durable, aswell as having more functions worthwhile to this generation. A blackberry is really not for anyone except the excentric buisnessman, and its time that the world was given a wakeup call to this factor, before, like me , they shell out for a let down of a product.

only thing I don't like is the media side of this phone, but for the price I paid for it I can't really grumble

This phone is bigger than the average phone but lets admit it, it is more than an average phone. I have not got to the end of the possibilities, but this is my fault and no reflection on the userbility of the blackberry. My phone is not the latest model but has a lot of great features.

I have a blackberry 8900 curve which is a great phone but it is expensive, I needed a phone that had the basic functions of the 8900 but at a tiny cost so I could take it out and not worry about breaking it or loosing it. I bought a 7230, although it is old fasioned and chunky it still has the basic Blackberry functions of email, fast SMS, calender, contacts, so it can still be used for important business but when you dont have to worry about theft or breakage. I took it swimming, I left it in the lockers if it did get stolen no-one would be able to see your info since its security is tight, and it only cost £7 so it would be easy to replace so its a great second phone and still perfectly usable even being such an old phone..

A clasic phone for the swimming pool, beach, on holiday or anywhere where there is a high risk of damage or loss.
