Queen - Flash Gordon (Original Soundtrack) (CD 1994)

They are the best band in the world. I love all their vidoes and dvds they have ever made, their music will live on forever.

Not one for the general fan. It is a soundtrack album and is only worth buying if you absolubtly love the film. The album contains different tracks that make up the music that was used during the film and it is intercut with speech etc from the film. Only two tracks contain lyrics - Flash and The Hero, these tracks in themselves are alright but the rest of the album is not worth listening to - and it is only half an hour long anyway.

Darn short tracks over in half an hour but it's superb. For an early eighties child like me this really took me back.

i bought this cd for the surreal time capsule track (number 2). very atmospheric track. written by the drummer as well. what it lacks for in musical content it makes up for in escapism.

I had the Flash Gordon Sound track on cassette tape, but no longer have a tape player, nor can I find the tape!

I really wanted to listen to this in the car so I could sing along without embarassement (other than at traffic lights of course)! I am really happy with the purchase though a couple of the tracks are a bit quiet and you can't hear them over the noise of traffic.
