  The Best Of Prodigy

Prodigy's best album in my opinion. For younger fans they will have been hooked by the "Fat Of The Land" era, well now you need to hear them at their best!
As atmospheric as it is uplifting, The Jilted Generation has classics like Voodoo People and Poison as the headliners, but every track on here will take you on its own journey. A large range of vocalists make it a diverse album, but every track has a signature hardcore beat. Enjoy!

With all the "new music" scene about i just fancied some classic old skool music. I dont like much of what is about at the moment, im not into keane, athlete type of music, so what better than The Prodigy to liven the car up on the way to work. All the tracks are great and there are the classics on there, One love, Vodo People, Poison. Absolutely love it. Bargain as well on 99p for a trip down memory lane 10 years ago. Brilliant and i would recomend this to anyone.

Another Great Addition To The Prodigy Discography
Review created: 27/07/08

I have always been a Prodigy fan with Fat of the Land being one of my all time albums. However i hadn't always got on with their other works.

I bought this album from ebay and couldn't wait too give it a listen. Its a refreshing change from the usual sound, distinctive clubbing tracks like Voodoo People, mixed with huge advances for their time in sound like in The Heat. You can really see how The Prodigys musical sound has evolved.

However, this album is lacking something. Not every song is amazing, and you can really see how Fat of the Land (released 2 years later) was a huge step up in mastery for them. I am glad however i bought this, a really good insight to the music scene (in the UK especially) in the mid 90's

I bought it simply because I work away from home and I broke my collegues CD he brought in to listen to in the gym. I ordered whilst I away and it was at my house before I was. So I didn't have to go buy it from a shop, waisting any of my time at home.

  education starts at jilted
Review created: 10/11/08

i had this album on tape originally, it came to me in the realistion of rebellion. after owning the follow ups jilted just confirms how great this album is. i had played it to death in my teens so was so good to hear it with more mature ears. i know a lot of ppl have been introduced to the prodigy through fotl, unfortunately it seems they missed out on the rave scene to realise how significantly better this album is compared to all there others. fotl is a good album but more for the bandwagoners. liam is deffo one our best producers and this album is a definitive showcase of that. an unadulterated abundance of hard, big beat, adrenaline rushes with an abundance of twisted vocal and instrumental outcries that never really let you go. an album of the highest cult status in my book.-___-

Great at the time... still just as good.

This is the best of the prodigy albums. There's not a bad tune on the album, each tune is very original. This album is a bit edgier and harder than the experience album which came before it. I possibly enjoy this album more than I did back in the day, it certainly hasn't aged and makes you realise that they simply just don't make them like they used to. I'm unsure wether people who didn't own or don't know of these tunes from release would be a big fan of this album, I guess it's like marmite in that respect, my 12 year old neice loves "no good", a tune which was more of a commercial hit back in the day.
In my opinion this album consists of 13 tracks of musical genius!. The whole prodigy collection up until the late nineties is a must have for any hard dance fan, i'm not sure about the newer stuff as I haven't heard much of it.

One of the best albums ever released!
Review created: 16/07/08
by:

I think this is one of the best albums ever released, and anyone who likes to move will love it. Actually I find it hard to believe anyone could possibly stay still whilst listening to it. When I hear it I have to move to the tune- I don't feel I have a choice! It is so well produced- the tracks move so fluidly through from one to the next and they have real emotion in them all. I don't think I could choose a favourite track as I think it's best listened to as a complete work of art. What more can I say apart from buy it- you'll never regret it!

Why i bought the cd "Music For The Jilted Generation"
Review created: 04/07/08
by:

I have been after the cd as my old one had worn out.On ebay i found it from a 100% percent seller that i felt i could trust. The cd came fast with excellent communication from the seller which you usually find on good rated sellers.I got the cd cheaper than if i had ordered it new from a record store and was in a new condition.I think ebay works if you buy from good sellers the ratings are brilliant and certainly make the decision to buy easier. What one person has finished with can still be usefull to others especially discontinued or out of prduction items.
