Proclaimers cd, the best of, would be the best cd i have heard in quite a while!! Great easy listening cd!! Every song on the cd is worth listening to!!

Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys their music, need it be old or new!!

This album is brill, 20 tunes mainly acoustic/folky, by Craig and Charlie Reid, some funny, some deep , some affectionately about football they are well know fans of Hibernian , lol, also 'Throw The R Away' about the jibes they took as children for having a thick Scottish dialect.

The debut hit song from 1987 'Letter From America' is featured, and fans of the film Shrek will recognise the chirpy tune 'I'm on my way', and seems the world and his brother knows 'I'm Gonna Be (500 miles)'. As they get a bit political and talk about indepenndant Scotland in 'Cap In Hand ', first snogs in 'Oh Jean', Christianity in 'Lord I want to be a Christian' I could never work out if that was a pisstake or they really did...lol jovial marriage proposal given in 'Lets Get Married' and being dumped but a mans perspective in 'What makes you Cry' always cracks me up laughing at the lyrics

Albums a winner! Unlike Hibs lol

excellent tunes had to buy a new as lost old one and this was the best price on ebay,when it arrived i was surprised as it did not even look as if it had been opened!

I did not realise how many hits the proclaimers had I only knew 3 tracks and considering they are from Leith they do not get the recognition they deserve.

Arrived quickly and in mint condition.Will use this seller again,without a doubt.Highly recommended.Good,strong packaging used.Couldn't ask for better.

Sometimes you listen to music and the feeling you get from it is just sheer joy. This is what this album did to me. I admit, I did not know much Proclaimers stuff apart from the Letter From America and 500 Miles, both of which had been played to death on the radio. But listening to this cannot fail to move you in some way. I found myself (without realising it) wearing a huge grin as the album played and at it's conclusion I just felt a little bit better about the world and everything in it.

Good collection of their work,well worth purchasing for in car sing-a -long entertainment value.The content varies from up-beat to melancholy ballads

This was a Christmas present for my husband. We are both originally from scotland and have been great fans of the 'Proclaimers' for a very long time.

I Love this CD, I bought it because My Mother and I went to see them Live, and they were brilliant, what a great night we had, I just have to have the CD and it was a great price.

Quite brilliant except for the last track (Jean) which goes on and on a bit.Didn't like the geeky look of the brothers when they first appeared on the scene, but the music sort of crept up on me. I like country music and it is obvious so do they.Very accomplished musically and now one of my favourite all time albums.

Just what I expected plus more. Sounds fab in the car up loud and great to do housework to!!!

The boys writing is just great and this CD is easy to listen to whether you like The Proclaimers or not

This is simply the proclaimers doing what the proclaimers do, lots of catchy songs in a scottish accent, if you liked just one of the songs you've heard then your garunteed to like atleast another six on this album
