Late in John Hustons life he made some of his greatest films. He made some very different films in this time, some like nothing he had made before. Maybe it was a end of the life crisis, who knows. Prizzi's Honor is in my opinion his best movie ever. The performances are amazing, particularly by Jack Nicholson and Angelica Huston, who was Nicholsons flame at the time of filming. Kathleen Turner also turns in one of her best performances, not that it really says much, but she is actually pretty good. The plot is outstanding and the ending is far from what you will expect. It is what the movie needs, far from what we want to happen. The direction is also Hustons best ever, and he is an amazing director. Great movie.
