Private Benjamin (DVD 1999)

Nostalgia was the reason I bought this DVD. It is a good family comedy which has not dated. Sometimes the older films are the best.

Goldie Hawn at her very best,this film is always brill no matter how many times i watch it, funny and a little sad at times it makes you realise how human we really are.
A must for Goldie fans and a real good chick flick
get the popcorn and settle down for a really good film

I really enjoyed this movie I've not seen it since i was a kid my hubby got it for me for my birthday as i am a big goldy hawn fan.

I decided to by this DVD as my VHS copy is wearing out. I couldn't believe I could get it on DVD so when I found it I was over the moon. I'm a happy customer.

My DVD came in good time and in good condition.

A classic america army mickey take. Goldie Hawn at her best in the mid 80's funny and sexy. This is the female equivalent of Stripes. Watch Judy a woman only interested in marring the rich guy at the start become the lean mean fighting machine (well sort of). Follow Judy on her exploits as she joins up and struggles to make it through basic training. Well worth watching on a sunday afternoon.

What’s Judy doing in combat boots and fatigues? A recruiter seductively describes today’s “new Army” and gullible Judy takes the bait...This film is about a woman named Judy, whose only goal in life is to get married and be a housewife. Her life changes dramatically (wont give it away) and she decides to enrol in the army with funny results. This film is ultimately about her finding out that what she wanted at the beginning isn't what she wants afterall. It is truely a magnificent film which i thoroughly enjoyed, for the money its a real bargain!

Truly hilarious! As a bit of an army loving myself I find this quite enjoyable. Young Private Benjamin starts off as a prissy little spoilt brat and soon turns into a great army woman with a ton of attitude! It's great! I first watched this when I was about 11 years old. I'm now 18 and still love it to bits. A great laugh!

This is the second time I have brought this film. First for myself and second as a gift. Its a good early Goldie Hawn film. A highly enjoyable watch.

i've always loved this film but never had a proper copy of it, as i taped it from the tv, and had a poor copy.
an excellent film with goldie horn, it shows there's more to life than being rich, as she struggles to find herself in life in the army. brilliant.
