Prisoner Cell Block H - Best Of Prisoner Cell Block H (DVD 2003)

Even if you are not a pcbh fan this is an absolute must see. It is a true gritty life like drama that shows life inside just as it is [not that I've been inside cause I aint copper], but this has an appeal that just might make people think as it did with me, that just because a person is under lock and key, that is no indication that they are a bad person.

a good quality dvd which i purchased for my mother, she was a fan years ago as was my father before he passed away and so it held alot of memories. It isnt a dvd that ifs readily available in the shops so it was great to come across it on ebay.

this show had a cult following even with the poorest of plot lines and moving backgrounds somehow it still kept you coming back for more !!!!!!

i bought his for my mum for xmas as she use to watch this all the time
i like the item due to it being just the right value for money

Personally I enjoyed all three of the dvds. Total viewing time was 9 hours all which were very enjoyable. Once I began to watch dvd it had me spellbound so I watched till the end each time. Although it took mea couple of days to so it was very worthwhile. The three dvds included The Early Years, The Terroist Siege and the End which was the most famous and included the series dramtic conclusion - four of the best eposides of the entire series. There were only a couple of instances where if it where in a real prison circumstances would have been probably different. This did not deter me in any way from watching all the dvds quite the opposite.

Many years ago I used to watch the series which was shown every monday on television. This was when I worked as a taxi controller and I could watch at same time as answering telephone. Not sure but I think it was changed to another time or the early series ended. Whilst browsing on e-bay looking through the range of dvd boxed sets and came across it.

There was only a couple on offer I missed out on bidding for the first. That made me even more determined to get the other one and was very pleased at my success. The quality of the dvds was excellent no ghosting just a clear picture throughout. Each new eposide started like it did on television showing you a a clipse of how the last one ended. This is something that I can watch over and over. My daughters borrowed the dvds and I had to wait till they returned them to me. Well worth it very pleasent and value for money considering what it costs for just a single dvd these days.
