Prison Break - Series 4 (DVD)

This is the final season for Prison Break seen on Sky 1 here in the UK.

After watching the season, I believe I can sum it up in one word, "Addictive".

It is one of those series that gets you hooked after the first 3 episodes. You can't stop watching it and you end up watching one after another, until you realise 6 hours has passed.

I personally enjoyed it. However there was a few bits which was rather annoying. Characters always got to the point where a gun was pointed right at their head and just the second the gun holder says "bye" something happens to prevent the murder occuring. This exact scenario occurs at least 4 times in this same season and does get a little unrealistic, not saying much of it is likely anyways.

It is a fantastic season and a good finish, though it would upset a few fans certainly, due to it being a concrete finish to Prison Break forever. There will not be a 5th season, it just can't happen and if it did, it would never be the same.

I highly recommend buying it to finish off your collection of season 1, 2 and 3. It is needed, you can't buy the previous 3 and not have the final one.

Go on. You know you want to. Stop being tight.

All your expectations from the previous three series will be realised in this belter of a final series. Unlike in Series 2 & 3 you are not fed any seemingly pointless episodes that seem to go nowhere or be there to spin out the series, these are exciting and lead to a classic ending. Like in Series 1 Prison Break is back to its best here in its final installment.

Do NOT try to watch this if (a) you have forgotten any characters and (b) after downing a few glasses of wine! While Wentworth Miller can do no wrong (I could watch the whole series with sound off!), this series from the first episode requires concentration! There are the usual twists and turns, but the story is, in my view, unnecessarily complicated. If you have seen the first 3 series, then this is a must - if you haven't, you may struggle to understand who is who - and where they fit in.

the only bad thing about this dvd is that its the last in the series of in my opinion the greatest show of all time.i know people are loving 24 or lost but give me prison break any day i dont want it to end & i cant just watch one episode at a time ive got to watch a dozen.a must buy.****************

i cant believe its finished i was hooked from start to finish. series four was the best. the acting is not the best but wentworth miller makes up for that. i only watched series 1 four weeks ago and had to buy the rest as it is so gripping. i feel so sorry for the people who watched it weekly. one word of advice make sure you have nothing planned before you start watching it as once you start you will want to watch them back to back. ENJOY!!!

Having watched the previous series was eager to watch the concluding episodes and wasnt disappointed

A friend introduced me to Prison Break and lent me series 1-3. Obviously I wanted to see series 4 so went on ebay and bought it.
Halfway through watching series 4 and very happy with purchase

It was a brilliant, equally as good as the others if not better. They (I wont say who has made it this far!) are not in prison but someone has a hold over them and they have a task to do - again but this programme is brilliant because each series is very individual and unique. But at the end of this is also 2 feature films, and major warning get the tissues and that even goes for the fella who watch Prison Break.

saw the first episode that was enough to have me hooked enjoyed the hole series well worth buying never got boored there was so many twists and turns. I will certainley watch it again.

I am an avid fan of Prison Break, so this review may be bias, but don't knock it 'till you've tried it. At first I wasn't a fan of Prison Break I didn't think it would be something that would be of interest, however I borrowed the series from a friend and I was instantly hooked! I thoroughly enjoyed the final season and was glued for every moment! Even if you think this is something that would not interest you, still give the first season a try! For every Prison Break fan this is a must and not only 'cos it's the final season but it is the best season by far! Although I wish the final break was made into a full season, but it works.

The last season brings back some of the excitement that the first two series had, I found myself shouting at the telly a few times at the number twists and turns in the plot.

For anyone who hasnt watched Prison Break START NOW, It is probably the best programme that has ever been made, From the very first episode until the last you are completely glued to the screen, the acting from all involved is simply superb, I am surprised we havent seen more of Wentworth Miller, he is a total genius, I have just finished watching the fourth and final series, and in my opinion was one of the best, I cried like a baby at the end, TOTAL AND UTTER GENIUS!!!! I dont know what im going to do now that its finished, Cannot recommed this highly enough, you will not be dissapointed.

Having recently gotten into Prison Break i was eager to watch the last series. Although on some occasions a final series has proved to be disappointing, this wasn't the case with Prison Break. A truly gripping ending to an exciting programme.

Brilliant ..answers questions from previous series ..am well upset that seasons have now finished there is no chance in a further episode

Just what I needed whilst housebound and suffering through a bout of flu. All that you would expect - the plot twists and turns relentlessly - lots of mean and moody posing from the brothers although a disappointing lack of singlet wearing! As long as you are prepared to suspend any sense of reality and aren't likely to question how someone who has been shot or undergone brain surgery can be up and on their feet the next hour then I am sure you will enjoy watching this final series of Prison Break. I even shed a tear at the end - probably the flu drugs...

i was very happy with prison break 4 which was in perfect order and was also delivered very promptly but this is not to say i am happy with all my ebay purchases,take series 7 of 24,my all time favourite,i was left very unhappy as this dvd would not play on my player even though all other dvd;s play with no problem.when i mentioned this to a friend they said that it could be an american dvd which will not play on our player.i did not send it back because i thought that i was at fault for not asking questions but how could i when i did not even know that there could be a problem.next time though i will ask if it plays on english dvd player because as well as being out of pocket i still have not watched the seven series of 24 bummer.

I love it because it's prison break! Its the same old gang, the same old story but with more twists and more adventures. Excellent entertainment.
