Prison Break - Series 2 - Complete (DVD)

Season two kicks off right where the first ended, with the escapees fleeing across an airstrip as their escape plane leaves without them. They run off into the woods with the prison guards and police in hot pursuit. They narrowly escape, only to discover a little girl in the woods hunting with her father. Abruzzi takes the girl hostage as a means to escape, much to the displeasure of the rest of the crew. Fortunately, they do get away.

As their escape continues, a new character is introduced back at the base, Alexander Mahone, played by William Finchtner (Invasion). He is an intriguing addition and seems able to match wits with our hero, Michael Scofield. This proves to a good match-up for the season. Mahone is seen as an interloper by Bellick, who is intent on bringing the convicts down, but winds up having even more issues the further into the season we get.

In yet a third layer, Veronica discovers the President's brother is still alive, so she intends to use him to clear Lincoln. Of course, nothing goes as planned and the results here were definitely unexpected.

Back with Scofield, the rest of the group finds out about Michael and Lincoln's plan to retrieve Westmoreland's hidden money in Utah. This leads to a crossroads that could tear this motley crew apart, all while they try to stay one step ahead of Mahone and Bellick.

And so the second season began. No longer were they a disparate group of inmates forging a fragile bond in order to gain their freedom. No, they were all loners looking to stay one step ahead of the pursuing lawmen. Their stories would diverge, going in wildly different paths. Still, a select few have found their post-prison journeys forever intertwined. This would lead to continued excitement, drama, and suspense as the show expanded beyond the prison walls, but still retained the feel of the first season. It was definitely an interesting new road to travel.

One had to wonder how they would manage to keep the second season going, considering they were no longer in the prison of the title.

The search for Westmorland's money results in its discovery buried beneath a garage. Once uncovered, it is promptly stolen by one of the few of the group who was left. The chase for the money leads to Panama, where the season concludes. The money, the truth of the VP's brother, Bellick, the mysterious Kim, and an even more mysterious clip from a hospital in New York all come into play as we get yet another fascinating cliffhanger. It leaves us with many more questions than answers, but it marks Prison Break as one of the more compelling series currently in production

Just as breath-taking as season 1

Prison Break is the best TV series i've ever seen in my life! and the same goes for everyone else I know!

Believe me both series 1 and 2 are well worth watching and that the under-statment of the they year! 9.5/10 as the ending of season 2 could have been a little better, not to say to much...lol

If I could meet the director and stars I would pay them for the enjoyment I got from watching the episodes! Thats how good both the series are!

I loved the boxset have seen before but needed followup to sets that i got at xmas, was amzinghighly recommendable.

Prison Break season two simply shouldn’t work. How can a a Tv series be about breaking out of prison carry on after they are out.

Yet The boys are now on the run from everyone and its just fascinating. The twisted bunch of characters we got to know, love, hate and jeer at throughout the shows First season. And in many ways, the second series of Prison Break evolves into a logical extension. The story just gets better and better.

With Michael and Lincoln, along with the other escapees, now on the run, the focus switches to keeping out of prison rather than trying to break into it. That’s no easy task though with a cop like Alex after you. On top of the media interest in them, there are the political forces behind the scenes that were slowly developed in the maiden season.

Once you add into the cauldron the simmering relationships between the escapees themselves, and the feeling of distrust that underpins them, the second season of Prison Break falls into place. And do you know what? It’s genuinely as exciting as it was first time round.

Prison Break is relentless, exciting television, and when this second season concludes with a logical progression to what will happen in the third, you can’t help but demand more...

Prison break is without a doubt the best series ever made,nothing even comes close!It's action packed from the word go and when one episode finishes it leaves you wanting more.If you've never seen it then i highly recommend you watch it from the start.You won't be disapointed!ENJOY

I bought Prison Break complete series 2 for my boyfriends christmas! I really wanted it too so that was a bonus! From the very first episode, it keeps you on the edge of your seat! you find yourself shouting at the t.v. I love this series and can't wait until Series 3 is out to buy! I suggest you buy this if you loved the first series or if you just love a bit of drama and action!

Compulsive viewing and a must for all fans of the television series. I bought this for my daughter's boyfriend and they watched all the DVDs in 2 days. They love to watch them over and over and could probaably quote virtually every word from every scene.

The whole 4 series are brilliant and each series seems to be completely different. Its about a break out of a prison and then how they are going to survive. This series is how they are going to cope on the outside, but dont think thats it! This series is as full of action as all the rest. It all cetainly keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Gripping US tv series with great twists and fantastic acting. The two main actors are very easy on the eye which is always a bonus! I will be watching all five seasons! Highly recommended

I love prison break and the DVD quality was great although packaging did not quite look original. Overall, the quality and the price was great. Was sent out quickly and I enjoyed watching the DVD's
