Prince & The New Power Generation - Diamonds And Pearls (CD 1995)

This is one of the greatest albums ever produced. Prince's work has gone downhill since. But this is him at the peak of his powers. Thunders a fantastic ballad. Diamond and pearls is a classic. All the songs are different but all a so easy to listen to... Enjoy.

As Briliant as i had expected the guy is a living legend! A must buy for any Prince fan! Diamonds and pearls is a classic!

I bought this album because I had it on vinyl when it was first released in 1995 and I wanted to update it to CD.

I like Prince's music and already had this album on cassette but wanted it on CD
I like all of the tracks and think this album is one of his best recordings he has done.

This CD replaced much loved copy that was damaged. This a real sing along to Cd with great tunes and the true Prince energy

Having only just become a member of e-bay, it was an idea time to buy a small stocking filler for my wife for christmas. My wife was a Prince Fan many years ago, and I thought a blast from the past would certainly be a surprise.

The disc contained many of the old time favorites, which sometimes can be difficult to find on the high street. The CD arrived in double quick time, the CD was in excellent condition, although the case was a tiny bit scratched, but would you expect for the price I paid.

E-bay, an excellent idea, and a pleasure to use.

I bought this to replace in my collection and take a trip down memory lane. I used to use the opening bars to annoy my neighbours on volume 10 on a sunday morning in retaliation for them hoovering at 7 am, when we had had late nights....

Its a good mix of songs fast and slow, you can sing and dance, be upbeat and mellow all in one album, which is great value for money. Prince is a musical legend.

No collection is complete without him.

Quite a hard CD to find nowadays, especially with this hollographic cover featuring Prince and Diamond & Pearl. To be honest, not one of Prince's stronger works (in my opinion), with him being seamingly happy to pass the creative reigns over to Rosie, Tony M and the NPG. Some sangs fall a bit short of my mark, such as 'Walk, Don't Walk', but others exceed it - such as the joyous 'Push' (I dare you to not tap your foot [at least] along to this one). All in all, a nice, fun, memorable CD.

i owned a copy of this album before but not on cd so wanted to add it to my collection.
His diamond and pearls album goes back to his better albums he has now returned with another classic album of similar style in 3121.

Value for money. 1p start is always good value!!!! As described, postage reasonable too!!! Quick postage,,, within a week was the delivery!!!! A111111.

Fabulous music by Prince!!!!!
This Album is one of Princes better ones, I love all of the songs on here! My favourite song is diamonds and pearls but there are others that I like just as much.
I love to put this CD on in the car.

PRINCE........REMINDS ME OF MARMITE LOL, YOU'LL EITHER LOVE HIM OR LOATHE HIM, NO MIDDLE GROUND WHERE THAT MANS CONCERNED!! ME? I THINK HES NOT ONLY A VERY TALENTED SINGER, DANCER BUT ALSO HE WRITES, PRODUCES AND PLAYS ALOT OF THE INSTRUMENTS HIMSELF ON MANY OF HIS ALBUMS......PURE TALENT!!!!!
I BOUGHT THIS PARTICULAR CD FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN MY OLD ONE HAS WORN OUT LOL.......

This album has a more hip hop style about it than Prince's usual work and a heavier feel thanks to Tonio M's rap vocals. The tracks are consistently good. I particularly like 'Jughead', 'Walk Don't Walk' and 'Live 4 Love'. Great album
