Practical Magic (DVD 1999)

I love this film mainly because of one song in it, (Put the lime in the coconut) I think the film is brilliant but the song makes me want to get up and dance, The film itself is really entertaining and my family love it.

I bought this item off ebay and i didnt expect it to be as great as it was. i loved it i found nicole kidman a little annoying sometimes but sandra bullock was exellent and i enjoyed the film very much this film is about love, death, and of course magic if your a sandra bullock fan then this is for you.

My wife has seen this film before and wanted to see it again. I've never seen it before but thought it was fantastic, a good story, really nice locations, well acted and quite comical in places.
The film stars Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman which sounded like a good pairing to start with.
There is nothing that I disliked about the film, the price was right and we were in the mood for a "chick flick"

I had this film on video and I watched it so much that the tape broke so I've got it on DVD now and I love it! Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are born into a family of modern-day witches who's husbands are cursed to die. Nicole plays the wayward sister who gets herself into a bit of trouble with a latin lover who refuses to die and stay dead. It's a lovely comic yet touching film with superb performances by everyone. Thoroughly watchable and yes, I'm afraid it is a chick flick so it appeals the romantic in me.

I love this film. I never normaly dont like romance film, but this one is very fun and heart warming aswell.

I watched this for three millionth time the other day and it was just as good as the first time I saw it all of those years ago. It's a fantastic film and both Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman shine. I can't believe 2 such strong actresses go together so well. The aunts as fabulous and the baddy is scary. The main spell (not to give the game away) is freaky and the final spell is very very well done. A fantastic end, wonderful twist and turns in the plot and just a very entertaining warm film.

Saw it first on sky years ago and liked it then. Found it up for sale and dived at it .brilliant light harted story just right for a rainy day. Brings its own magic to the small screen will watch it over and over

This is about two sisters and their aunts who are all witches. It starts off with a curse from a previous generation about if they fall in love it's doomed as the guy will pass away. It comes to the curse coming true for one of the sisters and the other sister falls in love with the wrong guy who they end up killing twice. In the end he haunts them and they need a coven to get rid of the ghost. There's a lot more to this story and it's good. It's not too scary and enjoyable.

I found it a good watch ,there are a few scenes in it I would say are not really suitable for kids under 12 etc ,but it was well acted and good cast

I love this film def 1 of my favs and my 5 year old daughter loves it.
I think sandra and nicole do very well in this film.

I loved this film, it is such a girlie film and since I love the TV programme Charmed, it is right up my street. The story of the sisters is well played by Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock, particularly Sandra Bullock. The aunts bring the fun and nonsense which is needed as it can be quite a dark film some of the time. I loved Aiden Quinn, he is the perfect lead in a romantic film. I also enjoyed the music, some of which I wouldn't normally listen to, but fits perfectly with the film. I highly recommend this as girls night in kinda film!

my mum liked the film so she wanted me to buy it for her there is nothing to dislike about it its a good film .

I love movies to do with horror and witches etc... so practical magic gives a lightened viewing to this type. It entails witches, a curse, romance, family and other aspects. It also has a villain which every movie must have! And soo this is the reason i decided to buy it.. also because i watched this movie when it first came out in 1999 and every since i have always loved it really.
Not to mention it having two of my favorite actresses as the staring roles: Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman! :] x
So if any buyers want this in a movie i do recommend Practical Magic x x

I love watching films about witches and this is one of my all time favouite. I've bought this dvd to replace the one i've just lost in my recent move.

Very lighthearted movie, makes you smile and cry at times, brings good feelings, great anytime, good cast, lovely settings, old fashioned sourandings,, makes you watch over and over again. Enjoyable, good ola like style movie

Bought it as i love the film and have never got round to buying it before now! Item also in Excellent condition. Looks new.

I have not seen this film myself but my daughter loves it, she watches it most nights so it must be good as its keeping her from getting herself into trouble lol.

The movie is great for all ages, and is truley spellbinding!

I saw it on TV a few years ago, and have been wanting to buy it ever since. A memorable file that will have you on the edge of your seats, praying that they will work things out.

Bought this film for my wife...and she must watch it at least once a week. She descibes it as a feel good film which enables you to sit back relax and unwind. If you lie Sleepless in Seattle, Youve got Mail or Notting Hill this is for you.

i had tryed to get this film for my wife all over but could not the film is a very good family type film and you can all sit and watch it it is sad in some places and very funny in others and i would recomend it to anyone

this is one of sandra bullocks greatest roles! i love her, she put alot into this one! which makes it such a great film! i dont know why but i just love it, its a great film! thats all ive got to say, apart from you gotta watch it!
