If you are a fan of Meryl singing, this film is for you!! Her comic timing is impeccable, and the on screen relationship with Shirley Maclaine fantastic.

) Meryl Streep can be seen revealing even more of her range of talents in this film. She has a surprisingly good singing voice!!! Shirley McLaine acts, sings and looks fantastic for her age. The story is entertaining and uplifting. One of my all-time favourites. Carrie Fisher (Star Wars' Princess Leia) not only wrote the book but also the screenplay and gives a funny and interesting commentary on this DVD. Much of it was based on her own experiences.
