Here it is, probably the greatest hits compilation fans have been waiting for, as the previous cd from the early 90s failed to include some of the Police's best work, This 30th anniversary anthology includes probably the best songs from the five Police studio albums that stormed the charts throughout there short but successful career, except for the DIY Fallout single that Andy Summers didn't play on, to the trancelike Tea in the Sahara. This cd is guaranteed to satisfy. The only two disappointments I have is that it fails to include some tracks like When the world is running down... and Secret Journey. But if your a die hard fan of The Police you've probably purchased all the albums over the years or picked up Message in a Box that includes everything ever recorder, This Cd also fails to improve on the audio quality's and presentation you'd expect from a second Greatest hits cd. But all said The Police Anthology is a great addition to anyone's cd collection and well worth the price.

I bought this album purely on remembering some of their greatest hits like, message in a bottle, roxanne,walking on the moon,invisible sun,every little thing she does is magic, etc etc and thought what a great album to have.And after playing my favourites i deceided to listen to both the discs fully and i have to say they made some crummy music/records.Disappointed to say the least, but perhaps i was expecting every record to be as good as their big hits, how wrong i was.If you buy this album as i did purely on remembering some of their classic hits then you too could be very disappointed.

A belter of an album, well worth getting some classic tracks that you dont hear anymore.I think this is the last album that they will do unless they start releasing new material.
So if you're a Police fan this is an absolute must.

Back in 1980 I was a devoted fan to The Police with Sting being a dreamboat! I had every album going, but unfortunately mislaid these on a house move!!!
I realised years later back in Autumn 2007 that they were making a revival ideal for my up and coming birthday!I went to see the Police recently at Cardiff Millenium Stadium they were absolutely fabulous - maybe even better than years ago that I remember.
I bought their latest album - has all the old songs and new ones to boot. A double album at a reasonable rate.

If you loved the police like I did when they first appeared in the seventies them you'll love this! It has all my favorites all on one great cd. I saw them in October at the Millenium Stadium and they covered all these songs. They are just THE BEST!!
