This is quite an old fashioned digital camera I bought for work, it wouldn't've been cutting edge even when it was new in 2003.
The picture quality is reasonably good which is the major requirement in a camera and it uses standard AA batteries and SD memory cards.
It had already led a full life when I got it but the only fault is in the electret microphone in video mode which is very poor.
The body is chunkier than would be expected now and has a rather plasticy feel to it. The screen is small by modern standards and hard to see in daylight (impossible in sunlight) and the operation is slow, if you want to take pics of animals or birds, forget it!
The major design flaw is the lack of an internal power backup to retain time/date settings. As the batteries only last a few days of normal use, it is frustrating to have to reset the date and time whenever the battery compartment lid is removed (which sometimes happens accidentally when removing the camera from its case).
Having said all that it's fine for my purposes and would be ideal for a small child or as an emergency backup in the glove box with the travel sweets and the Nokia 3330 payg.
I got it for a tenner inc p&p but I'd go for something else if I were you, even at that price.
