Album Notes Arguably the only credible surviving stars of synthpop, the Mode return with their eleventh album and follow-up to 2001's 'Exciter'. Recorded with producer Ben Hillier (Doves, Blur) and marking a return to form with a fresh, revitalized update of the band's classic sound, this is being hailed as their best work in years. Includes the single 'Precious'. | |||||||||||
Reviews This album, for me, finds Depeche Mode on top form. Really loved it from the first play. I saw them live on this tour and remember how strong the new songs sounded so it always gives me a pleasent reminder of yet another good night courtesy of Depeche Mode. A national treasure. Depeche Mode in this new album mix sounds of very relaxing music together with excellent lyrics, and that's undoubtedly the perfect mixture. It is a very united album, and at the same time it is not repetitive. Their voices in this album sound clear amd mature. I love that! Review ID: 10000000003384749 Was this review helpful?
