You either love or hate Woody Allen and I'm the former. You should not watch this unless you have already watched "Casablanca" as you will miss much of the humour otherwise. We will forgive the inaccurate quote... she only said "Play it" but "Here's looking at you , kid" is still a great line
This is what became known as one of Woody Allen's earlier funny films. There certainly no doubting that review.
Even now almost 3o yeras on it remains fresh in it's approach and it's humour. It was the first film I ever saw by Woody Allen at the age of 16 and it had me hooked then. To reacquanint myself with it all these years later was wonderful. It is certainly something I will treasure and pull out on a regular basis.
