Gonna' have to lose the arm, Joe.

When a chemical virus gets loose in a small town, it can only mean big trouble!
Those who are affected become mutated, sore-ridden zombies. And the survivors - a band of misfits, each with their own demons - must find a way of escape.
Part of the Tarantino / Rodriguez GRINDHOUSE double, this classicly-styled zombie splatter-house film is a first-class creeper. Shot in digital but with various computer generated effects, this movie doesn't take long to star shocking you.
A complete and solid movie, Planet Terror delivers on all fronts: Plenty of imaginative gore, a neat and speedy plot line, great acting and Special Effects that are so well done, you only see those that the director WANTS you to pick-up on (eg. the distressing of the print) and not the others (Leg/Gun/Leg?)
I purchased the single disc edition. This comes with a Director Commentary, an Audience reaction track, a COMICON stage Q&A, trailers and a Poster Gallery.
Overall, a first-class film and well worthy of the Grindhouse assocciation. One for the Uber-blood fan. Place next to John Carpenters THE THING and George A. Romero's DAY OF THE DEAD.
Get in the Drinks. Get in the Crisps. But, maybe forget the dipping sauce!
