Pioneer HDJ-1000 Professional Headphones

luckly enough when i bought these top of the range dj headphones the seller refunded the money after i contacted them to tell them they were fake's as the fake 1's spell pioneer with a perfect round o and the original 1's spell it with an oval o!!! these had a round o! so not a good buy im afraid but you live and learn i suppose.........

Original HDJ-1000 headphones are fantastic, - Chinese copy of this product I would place between Average & Below average category.

I bought a set of pioneer hdj 1000 dj headphones from this person for £56 when they were £130 in shops. (good deal you would think!)On delivery i found out that the headphones were in fact fake, no mono-stereo switch, wrong 'pioneer' font, cheap plastic and wrong headband design. I sent the headphones back via special delivery and requested a refund. That was a month ago and i have still not recieved a refund. I have been we'll and truly robbed and now will be involving the police.

Was counterfeit item (used pioneer website reference). Tried to get a refund but am still waiting for refund after returning goods

this is false advertising !!!!!!!! the picture are the real hdj1000 but the ones he as sent are lightweight rubbish with poor stickers saying pioneer !! i know this as ive compared them next to a real pair !! poor poor poor

unfortunately i cannot understand as to why i was asked to write a review ON an item that was never supplied to me by the seller and i had to file a dispute against them to get my money back. If the price is too good to be true IT IS!!!! I know speaking to another seller they also bought the same item off the seller and did not get the product. He too had to open a dispute from ebay. This is the first time that i have had to leave negative feedback, i got it left back but buyers need to know, when someone is trying to have you over. Overall i would never purchase from this seller again and believe him to be a total FRAUDSTER, his paypal contacts were completely bogus (i wonder why) overall a complete tw*t that ruins the ebay expreince for other people.

As most other buyers has mentioned there are plenty of fakes on ebay. I used the official pioneer website which has guidelines on how to spot fakes which helped no end.
Buying from an official pioneer dealer would obviously be the safest bet but expect to pay a premium for this. I bought mine from an ebay seller ""ginger gef audio" for £89.99, they were 100% genuine and delivered in 24 hours.

these were fake pioneers when they arrived but were advetised as being the real thing. the picture was of the real product but when they arrived they were fakes

I did my reasearch and sure enough all the Dj people i spoke to said these are great headphones... so i shoppeed for the best deal and emailed every seller i could about fake headphones which are imported. There is even a warning on the Pioneer website about fakes from the far east etc....

Be warned, i found plenty of fakes on ebay... every pair in fact needed sending back or bids cancelling when people confirmed they were fakes.. one guy even claimed they were an unwanted birthday present but when i checked he was selling about 20 sets of headphones????

Totally amazing headphones, but find a reputable dealer and see what you are getting... the fake ones look good but sound crap compared.... Get the right ones and you will be a happy mixing Dj!!!!!!!!!!!

Top headphones but dont BUY THE BLACK SWIVEL ONES there fake, also look for the pionneer sign on top on fakes it is small does not go down to each pivert and they is no mono-stero button on the head phone also the letter E in pioneer is weird looking. If your going to buy i recomend second hand ones off someone selling there equipment AS MOST ON HERE ARE FAKE. I were carefull got real ones.
(the fakes are good quality for the price just bad if you thought they were real, i bought a fake and genuine one to see the difference and they are same volume wise an quality but the clarity is better on the real ones )

great headphones however watch out for fakes there are a lot on ebay. there is a good guide on how to spot a fake on the pioneer website. lucky the trader i bought this pair from gave me a refund so only lost out on postage and time. a great product if you get a genuine pair!

THE HEADPHONES ARE FAKES NOT THE REAL HDJ 1000 THAT WAS LISTED. IT DOSE NOT SAY IN THE LISTTING THAT THE HEADPHONES ARE COPEYS OR FAKES OR I WOULDENT HAVE PAYED FOR THEM.IVE BEEN RIPED OFF.

I didn't know about the fake ones that go around, but some of them certinally are fake. So pay very careful attention to what the seller is selling, the price (not always an inidication, sometimes a deal arrises) and look on pioneers website in the headphone section for how to spot a fake pair.

Ask for pictures from the seller if they obviously haven't uploaded one of their own photos.

If you recieve them and find they are fake, try for a refund.

these headphones are not genuine pioneer, poor sound and build quality. there is a section on the pioneer website on how to spot fakes, the main thing to look for is black hinges instead of silver, also be aware there is also a lot of fake sony headphones on ebay at the moment.

Theres a lot of fake ones of these about. I got a fake pear hence the bad review. If the elbow hinges are black (instead of silver) and the padded headband is short andf doesnt run from near hinge to hinge then the phones are fake 1's. TS

i have bought a fake pair off ebay ,swivel joints are diffrent and there is no stereo/mono select switch on headphones ,yet on product sheet it shows switch lol
