Pink - Missundaztood [ECD] (CD 2002)

l bought this cd of pink as l think she great,l love the cd but l am a big fan.the more cd she does the better they get

this CD is a bit strange, it has a mismatch of music on it, some rock music, some pop, some rap, some r&b, pink needs to make up her mind.
onlyy buy if you like all types of music.....

I'd never been a 'fan' of Pink, but i've liked everything i've heard & when i saw I'm Not Dead on sale whilst shopping with Amazon i bought it to qualify my order for free delivery!

Without dwelling (this isn't a review of that album!), i was VERY impressed & it went straight to the top of my fave album list!

So, when i saw this album about to finish i put in my bid. I have to say i don't like it as much as I'm Not Dead but it is still a great album.

Let's get the negative out the way first - i'm not keen on the song Respect. It's not a bad song, it's catchy, bouncy & fun but there's just something a bit cliched about it... it makes me think of tongue in cheek 70's shows when i hear it! On the other hand it's the only song on the album i'm not sure about which is pretty good going.

All of the songs are sung with Pinks distinctive style and feeling which makes songs like Family Portrait pretty heart-rending - she can really pull you into a song with her.

Catch-22 deserves a mention also - when i first heard it i thought 'What the hell...', but once you've listened to it you realise what a good song it is. It's unmistakingly a Pink song... different, unusual, fun - and the last line she speaks made me laugh out loud which really sealed Pink as a new fave artist for me!

Definately worth having in your collection regardless of whether you consider yourself a 'fan' - and while your at it, get I'm Not Dead too...

On its release this was one of the most popular pop albums of 2002 and its easy to see why.

With the combination of a variety of pop songs, P!nk established herself as the most successful female solo artist of 2002 with this fantastic follow up album to her first solo album `Can't take me home' which was good but not a patch on this one.

The album sold magnificently, 16 million people world wide recognized the singer's talents and purchased the second album of her career, outselling her debut album by 13 million, proving she has established herself as a dominant solo artist in the pop music industry.

The excellent variety adds a greater aspect of taste for the listener. Viewers have the chance to listen to the very party pop song `Get the party started' which was unluckily denied number 1. The song focuses upon Pink going out and having a good time with her friends, viewers will be able to associate with the poppy music and be able to dance with the upbeat rhythm and stylish lyrics.

We have the very affecting `Family Portrait' where Pink changes her choice of singing and goes for very emotional issues about her parents fighting and her desperation for them to resolve their problems so that they can live peacefully as a family. Undeservedly entering at 11 in the U.K. charts the song is slow and Pink sings beautifully to capture the essence of the song.

Pink's first number 1 single came with this album, `Just like a pill' and the artist worked so hard to gain her first smash audiences were extremely happy for her. The song itself focuses upon many love issues as the artist sings about someone causing her pain and the effects it has had upon her. A very slow beat captured by an upbeat chorus adds to a great listen for anyone.

There are many great slow songs including: `Dear Diary' `Gone to California' and `Eventually'
But Pink also includes party pop style songs such as '18 wheeler' and `Respect'

Collaborating with established artists such as Linda Perry and Steven Tyler created even more influential pop music and raised the rising star's status as a now established singer.

This album creates passion for the listener with slow songs but overall creates a very upbeat mood as audiences can appreciate the moods the singer is experiencing. The party songs add a great aspect of Pink's life to her album and audiences have a choice of different styles to listen to.

It's a great album and definitely worth purchasing.

If you are a PINK fan then BUY IT as there is a handful of GREAT Tracks.
Worth the Money and you can now get this CD for just a Few Pounds off eBay since her latest Album I'm Not Dead Yet has been released which if FANTASTIC!!

I had this cd when it first came out but lost it moving house. As it was such a bargain decided to buy it off of ebay. The cd is excellent and I've spent many a journey singing along, in fact I'd forgotten just how good it was. 100% satisfied with my purchase!!!

Excellent CD, its the more gentle side of PINK. I actually bought it for someone else (from their wishlist) and played it and really liked it,

this is a good Pink CD - I really only know afew songs, but it gives you and idea of her range of song types not just rock, theres lots for everyone.

Fantastic, Pink at her best. I bought it mainly for one song - just like a pill - but loved loads of the songs on it, I didn't know some of them were Pink songs till now. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will continue to do so.

This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files. It has so many of Pinks early songs on such as, get the party started, just like a pill and family portrait, it's great!

Mixed bag of Pink tracks, some tracks are better than others. Only a few tracks were hits i recognised though.

I love this album, I have all her albums but I prefer this one, Family Portrait is my fav song!! Its a good song with good lyrics and story. Some great songs on here with personal song lyrics, a must for P!nk fans!

this is the best album yet! all songs are clearly written from the heart.
if you have ever had problems in love you will understand the meaning in all the songs.
fun house tells how one minute your having fun and the next all you want to do is run away from all the bad memories.

I previously owned a copy of this CD and lost it, thats why i bought another copy. Pink is a great artist and i love her music.

Great value for money also.

love this album....its a must for any pink fan....i have played this non stop since i had it even the kids are singin along with it....another great album from a fantastic singer songwriter......well done

loved pinks music anyway and this albums captures a great collection of her best songs.probably the best on on there is in my opinion (just like a pill) great song . some real good driving tracks in there too and pick me ups like (get the party started) a real must for any pink fans.

I got this to go with my 3 other pink CD, I think its good but i must say It's not as good as I'm not dead, but it is better than try this & can't take me home. I'm not dead was my first CD of hers so I may be a bit biased, so if you like pink I would recommend this CD.

I bought this CD for myself but it was swiped by my 10 year old daughter on the day it arrived: I managed to listen to it a couple of times and enjoyed most of the wide variety of music it contains.... then my 15 year old daughter pinched it & I haven't seen it since. That says it all about the appeal of this album I think.
