love everything and dislike nothing about this product, I bought it because the video was growing tired and dvd quality as we all know is much better

Peter Kay is the funniest man on the planet IMHO. Each time I watch his DVD's (no matter how many times), I see bits that I've missed before, and they never disappoint. I can never get enough of this guy and the cast. He's just the mutz nutz!!!!

Reading his autobiography now as well (Sound of Laughter). Haven't laughed so much for years.

Very funny absolute a must especially if your a Peter Kay fan. entertaining all the through. picking out along the way a few stars dropping in to do there bit. very funny.

Phoenix Nights, great DVD. I laughed my bollocks off!! Even the southeners would get it. Just pop it in yer VD player and woops yer go! I'm still laughing now, and I watched it 2 weeks ago. Forget about that stuff on the tele at the mo, buy this DVD and rekindle that funny bone you once had. The Phoenix Nights doesn't seem to get old like the other stuff. 'Buy this yer bastards or Ill break yer legs'.

Much prefer this series to Max and Paddy. Some classic sketches and watch out for some of the auditions at the end of the episodes, especially the doves released by the magician and the woman performing a neat trick with the table tennis balls.

I decided to buy Series 1 and 2 of Phoenix Nights because I'd seen a couple of episodes on television and enjoyed them very much.

It takes a few episodes to understand the characters but, once you do, you're hooked. There always seems to be a little hidden message in each episode and besides the laughter there is sometimes a hint of sadness.

Peter Kaye is brilliant, particularly as the disabled owner of the Club, when he manages to give you an understanding as to some of the everyday problems that disabled people face - things you wouldn't normally think about.

Overall, I think that Series 2 is better than Series 1 but would still recommend them both as a good buy.
