Philips SPA2600 5 Speakers

I tend to do a lot of recording at home and I used to link my pc to my Hi Fi, just to get a decent quality sound, after buying this speaker set up, thats no longer required, as the speakers are set up constantly with the pc and no trailing cables, the sound is awesome, and I get a true representation of the mix that I'm after. Very clear surround sound with the 5 satelite speakers and the base woofer doesn't half kick that bottom end. An excellent buy and very, very happy with the purchase.

I love it cos makes my house feel like a cinema with bass boot and surround sound cos i'm using it with my tv.

I cldn't connect all the speakers to my tv cos the computer speakers didn't come with phono cables ( i mean the red and white one you what i mean)

Great value for money, these speakers give very good quality sound and go extremely loud, without the quality diminishing. The wires are also a good length and dont look too messy. I am very impressed with these speakers and the only thing that i can think of to improve them is a wireless remote.

The sound I get from these speakers make my PC room sound like a cinema. I love them, great value for money.

After looking around the web for 5.1 speaker systems I found these speakers for sale. Even though they are graded product, the system works brilliantly, the bass is proper punchy and full toned, the sattelite speahers give good mid and high range sound that makes it a joy to listen to films and music on my PC. The wired remote is a bit useless as it does not come on a long lead but apart from that the system is stylish and well built. An excellent all round system for a budget price!

I did not keep the product that I am writing a review about, as it was damaged. There was a buzzing coming out of the right front speaker. However, the seller was happy to replace these, but I opted for a refund as the sound quality was poor.

I decided to buy the product as I know Philips are a well-know, reliable company when it comes to making audio systems (my other speakers were Philips). But I felt that the speakers I had were getting old and a bit worn out, so I wanted some new ones. I chose the Philips SPA2600 speakers as they were louder than the ones I had, supposedly of a better quality and I wanted a 5.1 surround sound experience for music, DVD's etc.

The speakers offered a 70 watts RMS sound output (which I thought was ample at the time), and a good sound quality. But this is not what I got. They were barely louder than my 2.1 40 watts RMS speakers that I had beforehand. I wasn't happy with the quality of these speakers, and would not recommend these. Unless you want all round speakers, these are perfect. I can't fault the quality of the sound at a low level. But they are no way better than your average 2 channel speaker sets. If you are wanting loud speakers ideal for music and DVD's, these aren't the speakers to buy

These speakers are the lick man, and only cost just shy of 30 bills, including packaging and posting. u get kriss bass too, and the volume is fecking loud bro. I sware get this sh1t before dem fools recognize and jack up the price.

Nothing to say about!!!! Everything is perfect!!! Very responsable people!!! Item was faulty when i recieved it, but one simple phone call and they send me new item without any postings back, it made my mood and saved my time!!!!!!! Will come to their shop agin, for sure!!!

As this item i purchased was a 'graded' product you could expect some slight marks or dents or something a little out of place. But on arrival and opening i was shocked at the sheer quality of the packed items. Each speaker works to an upmost degree , and the quality is supreme. I was not expending a standard like this from as ive said before 'graded' items. The Boxing was itself in good condition ill admit its was a little marked but the courier said sorry 70% of that was his fault as it was a rough journey. All in all the product in every way was amazing. I would buy these again for my little brother or son as the sound quality was amazing! 40 pound in argos no thanks 21 pound from ebay and delivered to my door :)

i bought these speakers as i have a laptop and the look and sound great the packaging was excellebt to!!!!!!!!

this is a very good item for its price !!
you should understand that it is not as good as similar products from eg logitech or creative, but then again it is alot cheaper, especially on ebay !!
i have one and it has not let me down..
more than you need for a room !!
and lastly looks great!

I didn't get on with these at all, should have known really, they were returns.
I plugged them into my pc and they hummed and buzzed and didn't work at all. Extra cost to return them, good money after bad springs to mind.

great delivery,brand new and a great price and great sound at top and bottom end but i don't think the nabours would agree.

but there is one small problem when swiching them on when there cooled down like over night i get a lound hum for the first 15 mins that without sound going to them.
is there anybody with this same problem?

i purchased this product primarily as a suround sound system for my tv. i now use it as a speaker system for my computer, which it does well, however it was advertised as a system that could be used for tv, and that is where the problem lies.the conections are not compatable for standard tv set up.,adaptors are needed, which i cannot obtain.
