Philips SBCHC8440 Consumer Headphones

Great wireless headphones, only a bit of inteference but excellent quality all round. Very wide area span to listen to high quality audio from device. I can listen to my music while walking around the whole house pretty cool!

these headphones are big, chunky, phillips high quality and sound great. Got my set for the TV but they'd work on the pc too or the mp3 player - the base transmitter has a 3.5 mm stereo jack which plugs into any headphone socket via its connecting lead.

My set looked slightly scuffed, maybe a catalog return rather than brand new but im guessing. The items were not sealed in plastic bags but were in their correct box. Sadly my set was missing the charging lead that connects the phones to the base unit to charge the batteries

although wireless, but the sounf quality is still really good. i can walk around the house, even going to my neighbours, and the sound is still good!

"Convenient" is the word I would use to describe these wireless headphones. My wife fell asleep and I can still watch TV (match of the day or a late movie for instance) without bothering. No cables around gives you freedom and security as well. I've connected them to a HiFi as well. The sound is clear, of good quality, I can walk upstairs, go to the garage and still have a good reception. Battery life is not too bad and it is easy to recharge it. The volume control is convenient. At the end I bought another pair to my wife and thus we can watch late movies without bothering our son. We use one emisor on the TV and the other one on the HiFi that can be selected by a switch on the headphones. The downside is that we look like two aliens wearing the headphones at night. I think it is a excellent product and it is good value for money.

The Philips SBCHC8440 Consumer Headphones are very comfy and very light to wear, they are self adjusting, the sound quality is crystal clear, you have volume control, on & off push button, being wireless you can walking around and still hear the music or programme you are listening to, you can recharge with charger unit when they are not in use, one drawback is you have to have two special rechargeable AAA batteries, two are included in box but if you wanted spares you have buy these special ones. I purchased these headphones because my hubby likes to listen to his loud music on his headphones but he sings very very loudly, unfortunately these headphones do not drown out his singing but it does help so I can at least hear my programmes now. Does what it says on the box and they don't cost the earth, great product.

my daughter was always saying i have the telly to loud,but not now,these headphones have solved the problem,the sound is perfect,i can hear every word perfectly,very comfortable to wear,its true you forget you;ve got them on,if youve a slight problem with your hearing as i have i reccomend these headphones.

I really like this earphone, I bought it for my own comfort and lisen music. Earphones work good, realy like that they are wireless and recharging. One thing culd be better that volume could be little bigger.

I listen to the radio 0ften a lot of it on DAB but with only one
receiver I miss a lot when I have to leave my room.
These headphones allow me to go into any room and still hear the
radio clearly. I can even go outside and hear reasonably well as
long as I don't go too far! I am glad I bought them!
