Philips PET716/12 7 in. DVD Player

I bought this dvd player for my 4 yr old for when we were on holiday. It is nice and light and small enough to take in hand luggage. It plays very well, does everything you need it to, and is very easy to use. My 4 year old can use it on his own without help. The battery life is about 2 hrs. It is perfect for my needs, and my son loves it. For the price it is excellent value, as you could pay a lot more for a similar product.

Delivery excellent but product poor, does not hold a charge, only lasts 45 minutes, will only play a DVD if left on charge at home or direct to power in car. No use on plane or where no power.

This was the second of these players we've bought for one of our kids, and with them being widely available at a bargain price they're now a great buy for children. This is now an ageing model, and it's not hugely endowed with sophisticated features - but the clamshell design gives it some protection, the screen is very good quality, and it's simple enough to operate that it is fine for kids from about 6 upwards.
