Philips MCB240 Shelf System

an attractive, compact and simple wee hifi that can sit on a shelf or be hung on the wall. it has the added bonus of a dab radio.
when playing a cd it can be seen spinning which looks quite cool, this also saves opening the cd player to see what cd was left in from last time! the cd player opens vertically in a smooth sliding motion and the cd is placed onto the stereo rather than in the stereo, this can mean removing the cd can be a bit fiddly.
the sound quality really depends on the cd. brand new cd's sound fantastic, very clear, loud and with good bass. older cd's that aren't so perfect can sound 'muffled'.
this hifi is perfect for the bedroom. its simplicity makes it user friendly and it looks modern and stylish. it certainly packs a punch.
