Philips DVDR3432V/05 DVD Recorder / VCR Combo

it preforms exactly ase it should, give's really good results, and is very easy to use. i am very pleased with it.

I wanted a DVD combo for several reasons,1= i have a lot of video tapes of my family holidays taken over the last twenty years and i wanted to transfer them onto DVD.
2= I also have films on dvd that i bought in America that would not play on my old DVD player, i looked around but could not find a multi region player in any shops.I then looked on E-Bay and found exactly what i was looking for.
The seller T.L.X. electrical Ltd were great to deal with,and said it will play any DVD from anywhere in the world, and so far i have found that to be true.
The only complaint i have (and i,m being very picky here)is that when in use in a quiet room it makes a faint humming sound from its internal fan.
But overall i am very happy with it,it does everything it say,s on the box,and more.

This is a quality piece of kit. Plays all types of dvd and cd.
One reservation is that it doesn't incorporate a uhf modulator. This means that if you have an ariel distribution system in your house, so you can watch video (in mono sound) in another room. Then you have to buy a seperate modulator and wire it up.The ariel in/out connection is just a loop through. Otherwise its a first class item. as you would expect from Philips.

This DVD recoreder is one of the most helpful and powerful devices that I have ever seen, it can play all the common video format i.e, the *.avi, *.divx, and the *.mpg taking into account that all these movies are DivX encoded.

It is fantastic, I recomend buying this device very much.

bought to transfer my vhs to dvd. unit ok for that function but not as an every day dvd player, will be returning to my original player once transfers complete and then offer this unit for sale.
