I am partially deaf and can only hear telephones with the aid of a speaker. I have found the Philips CD445 to be an excellent phone to use with its 'hands free speakers'. They are very clear and loud enough for me to hear. The other functions that they offer such as 100 names phone book, 30 names redial and answering machine are also very good value for money. This is by far the best telephone that I have ever owned.

) Phone looks modern & good. Choice of ring tones are a bit of a disappointment but I found it very easy to set up and use. I'm hard of hearing & could have done with a louder ring volume, especially if I'm in another room but the phone lights up when people ring you so the colour catches your eye so I found that helpful.
Other than that it does exactly what it says on the tin and was a bargain buy!
