I have watched all three episodes of Max & Paddy and have laughed out loud again and again. OK it's not as good as Phoenix Nights, but M & P shouldn't be compared to this because of the all the different characters within Phoenix Nights that allow this to create more comedy moments.
The Mick Bustin episode is the best so far and the wood scenes were Peter Kay and Paddy McGuiness through and through. I think it's best to watch the episodes a couple of times as this gives you the chance to pick up on things missed the first time around. Anyone who has watched any Peter Kay material knows that you must watch everything a few times to appreciate all the comedy classic moments.
I laughed more the second time of watching all the episodes.
All I can say is lets celebrate people who are trying to make us laugh and not knock them down. I hope Peter and Paddy carry on as a double act because I think they're classic!!
How far away are they?

I SAW THIS DVD ADVERT AND WAS OVER THE MOON,TO FINALY BE PURCHACING SOMETHING ID WANTED FOR SO LONG,I WAITED AND WAITED FOR THE DVD TO ARRIVE,ONLY TO BE INFORMED THAT WHAT ID ACTUALY PURCHACED OF THE SELLER WAS A LINK TO A PLACE WERE THE DVD COULD BE PURCHACED.THESE ADVERTS SHOULD NOT BE ALOWED AS THEYRE EASILY MISS READ AS THE SELLERS PROBABLY KNOW SO THEY MAKE ALOT OF MONEY FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING.

) Very Funny Boxset Well worth the money. I brought this item mainly because i watch it on tv a while ago and loved it. I am really hoping for a series 2. I recommened this dvd if your a fan of peter kay or pheonix nights. Well worth the money.

) Bought this as I LOVED the Phoenix Nights series, and this is a continuation of the (mis)adventures of the two hapless doormen Max and Paddy. They take to the road in their camper van "just like easy rider(s)" and each epoisode is about their antics in different locations. Between dance lessons, first aid, pig husbandry and a spell doing "bird" there is also a glimpse into Max's past, and a special appearance form the Phoenix nights gang. Lots of laughs, a very enjoyable dvd highly recommended.

EXCELLENTthis DVD is very very funny, loved Peter Kay for years and this is one of his funniest yet! nothing to dislike its top! decided to buy it after seeing a few episodes on TV. thought got to get it! fantastic!
