It is a pity that reviewer 'mabbymoo' did not read the information provided, in that the review is about the product and not a review of the seller, as in the case of 'mabbymoo', who appears to have a 'beef' with the vendor.

As to the CD itself. I can only say that Peter Grant is one of the exciting new discoveries in the UK, even though he has been singing for years under the name of Grant Peters. This CD is a new beginning for a very talented young man and at just 19 years old, has a truly remarkable voice.

The future holds exciting prospects for all of us that enjoy the style of music by Sinatra, Bennett, Fitzgerald, etc., etc. It is especially gratifying that he is a 'home grown talent', the likes of which we have not seen since the days of Matt Monro. His voice will mature as the years go on like a fine wine and coupled with the experience of 'the university of life' will eventually produce a British 'Frank Sinatra'.

I recommend you buy this CD, as you will not be disappointed and you will be helping to support a great British talent.

This young man has a voice and style which belies his age!

He is absolutely amazing and I am sure will appeal to most age groups. Move over Michael Buble and make way for Peter Grant!

This young man (he is only 19 years old) has a maturity in his voice that sets him on a par with the likes of Harry Connick JR, Michael Buble and even the late, great Matt Monro!1
An excellent album, even for those who usually dont like the crooners!

The magic of Peter 'On days like these' and many more.

This CD is excellent, I've been playing it continuously since, both in the car and at home, considering I have been moving it about, fast/forwarding and stopping it before getting to end of any particular track, I was afraid that I might damage it, but it is perfect, the sound is great. This is a brand new tape, it was such good value, it arrived so promptly. It's so wonderful to purchase something that gives so much pleasure, without having to pay an exorbitant price for it. Thank you. Would certainly shop again.

  What a Find
Review created: 05/08/06

Having heard this young man on a couple of television programmes I was lucky enough to win tickets to see him in his home town of Leeds. What a gem. This cd includes timeless tracks - We've Only Just Begun, Didn't We, On Days Like These, Walk Away to name but a few and his rendition of Joanna is simply stunning - it makes the goose bumps rise. Whilst closing your eyes you could believe the original artistes are singing, but this young man is in no way a "tribute" singer - he gives his all and makes the songs truly his own. He sings with such charisma and warmth it really is difficult to believe that he is not yet 20 years of age. What a wonderful find, what a wonderful representation of his work.

  Peter Grant CD

As a fan of the wonderful Nat King Cole any singer that can play the piano as well as sing is okay in my book.We have had the talented Harry Connick Jnr,our own Jamie Cullem and now a new kid on the block Peter Grant. He has a terrific voice and will i'm sure surpass the two wonderful performers afore mentioned. This debut album is simply fantastic, his voice is mature beyond his tender 18 years. As someone weaned on Sinatra,Mathis,Bennett and more,I can tell you this guy can sing !! I thought Michael Buble was brilliant,Peter Grant can go one better.Michael Parkinson has a habit of bringing talent to our attention,i think he hit the jackpot here.Check this album out you wont be dissapointed.

He has a brilliant voice, you would never believe he is only 19 yrs. He sounds a bit like Matt Monro. Easy to listen to just sit back and relax. I heard an advert for the album on the TV, and just loved his voice. Highly recommended.

expected the origional CD of Peter Grant
Recieved a basic copy (BURN 0F OF THE ALBUM) with a handwritten name of the artist in the CD.

Was advised that the bid was cancelled by EBay yet the copy still arrived and i was charged by Paypal, despite indicating I had sourced another copy.

Young Guy, Great Voice and talent.

This debut album from Peter Grant is excellent because it showcases a new singer with talent in songs both new and old. The musical arrangements are first class and this is a vocalist we will hear more of in the future. My favourites are the oldies like "The More I See You" but his "You're The First The Last My Everything" is outstanding. Peter is a "one-off", not a copy or someone trying to imitate, he doesn't need any of that. A definite best of 2006.
