Another strong album from Pendulum, a little more "rocky" than the first album but if you like Propane Nightmares, you'll love this album.

I knew pendulum had changed their sound and i thought for the worst.

I was wrong.

One can rave to songs on this album and one can mosh.

Broard spectrum of sounds, an awesome sophomore album from the aussie/brit drumandbass machines.

I would have to agree with srm_bmx that it isn't so heavy D'n'B as their previous albums, but as I'm not very into D'n'B i prefer this, and for me it's a brilliant album.

Why not listen to some of the tracks like the new single Propane Nightmares, showdown and The Tempest (my faves)

  What a great album !!
Review created: 28/10/09

I came across Pendulum on Spotify originally. Jungle / Dance is not my thing. The only reason I started looking into Pendulum as a band is the cover of the Prodigy tune they did. Since then, they have totally grown on me ... Granite and Propane Nightmares are just awesome tunes. This is the kind of album to listen to when you are playing racing games on your computer ... a high octane, high adreneline album.

Also recommend getting the Live in Brixton album / DVD also.

  The Best
Review created: 30/06/09

This album is a must for anyone who loves dance / drum and base progressive music. Interesting sound and euphoric enough for those of us that like their dance a little harder than the churned out gatecrasher mainstream.

Can be a little repetative but this does not take anything away from the individual sound that identifies them as a band.

Just love it!!!!!

  Absolute Pants-but thats my opinion
Review created: 27/06/08

I heard this album from a friends cd and its crap. Pendulum have seriously let themselves down as hold your colour was a wicked album. Imagine my horror when it was bought for me....gutted. I could of spent the cash on some descent music. Then again some people dont like what i listen to, so someone somewhere will love it.........advice though, if you are a proper d&b lover...dont bother with this.

  A Very Dissapointing Album
Review created: 20/05/08
by:
0 of 2 people found this review helpful.

WOW NEW PENDULUM ALBUM I THOUGHT! How disapointed i am with it, there are only a couple of true D 'N' B tracks on the freaking thing, all the rest are aimed at the NME, KERRANG croud that seem to follow them i.e crappy electro guitar music. My slightly illegal advice, obtain the album in a way that doesnt require payment.
