Paul Nicholas - That's Entertainment (CD 1999)

This is a terrific compilation of early -top ten hit- Pop tunes, by Paul Nicholas, from his self-titled album of 1977. My favorites are the bouncy "bubblegum" Reggae Like It Used To Be and the delightful Heaven On The 7th Floor. The latter of the two still makes me smile everytime I hear it. They're all the original cuts and are as fabulous now as they were when he recorded them. Added to these are a couple of more recently recorded songs from the musical "Cats." Unfortunately the album cover has been updated/changed and I wish the original gloriously gorgeous b&w portrait shot had been at least included along with the liner notes...
