Paramore - Riot (CD 2007)

I bought the CD because I loved Misery Business and I wasn't sure what to expect. This band deserve to be huge! With the lead singers amazing vocals and great guitars to back it up it's a sure-fire hit! CrushCrushCrush and For A Pessimist, I'm Pretty Optimistic along with Misery Business are the stand out tracks but the whole album is great and you can listen to it through without wanting to skip a track. The songs get catchier each time to, it get harder not to sing along! For those interested in the sound Paramore make, it's rock and I'd compare them to My Chemical Roamnce (before the Black Parade with a female singer) or Hole. In conclusion, buy this CD!

It is just a great album.

Misery business was the first single released and people started taking notice. So when thier album "riot" came out, there was a frenzy at the shops. There are some great songs on the album: "crush crush crush", "Born for this", "For a pessamist...." Already they have been playing them on their recent tour and they have become anthems that everyone knows the words too. I saw them in Wolverhampton and they were great.

With a sound like unfourtunately Avril "crap" Lavinge, Paramore have made it BIG in the real world, not just the world of EMO rock.

If you like the singles, you will like this album.
There wasn't one song i didn't like, i like some of the songs near the end of the album more then the singles, heh.
It's worth getting them album if you like what you have heard so far :)

I decided to buy this item because I am a very big Paramore fan but I only downloaded the albums. I have also recently purchased some Vinyl by Paramore & feel I want to begin collecting lots of Paramore items.

My granddaughter is very pleased with it. No scratches on cd. My granddaughter has informed me that RIOT PARAMORE IS WICKED AND COOL.

Heard a few paramore songs and so i thought i'd get the album.
It is an excellent album, not a bad song on it.

cant really comment cd was for or is for my daughter, not my taste in music at all but she loves the noise. you either love it or hate it i hate it she loves it.nice case is all i can say and was in good condition. it plays well wish it didnt but it does. shed be better writing this but shes 12 so cant be bothered. ta that age. cant say much more.

Love this album ! bought from ebay as i wasn't sure whether i would love it or not, but a great purchase coz its fab ! all great tracks, would definitely recommend a+++

Amazing Album - This is one to buy ! I hadn't really heard of Paramore, but after seeing them Live I can say to others - Buy it, & enjoy !!!

Good item, great price. Took 11 days to arrive but this was better than the published estimate. Recommended eBayer - if you're not in any hurry.

Though this has been out some time the music on this cd is my daughter's most favourite for this group.

Purchased off the back of the tracks 'Crush' and ' Misery Business', but the rest of the album does not disappoint. A good solid album, which I'm finding hard to remove from my cars sound system. I would not hesitate in recommending this album.

This is an excellent album. If you like Avril Lavigne or anything similar, then you will love this! I first heard this playing in a music shop. I only heard three tracks, and just liked them instantly! Now I'm hooked on Paramore!
I absolutely love every track on this album, so I won't mention them all, but I will pick a few examples out for you all.

All the tracks are well written and produced. If you want to rock out, this is the album to listen to! The only track I wasn't sure about at first was Track 8, 'Crush crush crush'. It has a bit of a weird structure which threw me at first. It's a grower, but it has a good original feel to it, so I really like it now!

Track 2, 'That's what you get', Track 5, 'When it rains', and Track 9, the powerful 'We are broken', are great tunes with brilliant lyrics. They are so well balanced, that even your Mum & Dad would say they're good!! Definitely tracks to please everyone!

Track 4, 'Misery Business' is one of my favorites, and is currently being played to death! This track has a great build up, and then breaks into a catchy and very punchy chorus - love it!
Another great song, Track 10, 'Fences', really makes me smile. It has a good strong bass with quite a fun sound to start, and then builds up to a great addictive chorus.

This is just a fantastic album. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent CD. I could listen to this all day (if I could) as its easy listening. I listen to various songs and that sets me going to listen to them all again and again. I play it everywhere its that good. Only thing I dislike is that there are 2 songs by paramore that were done live and placed on CD aznd these aren't included on the CD, but it doesn't stop me form listening to it.

I don,t like punk rock that much but this cd is great i like nearly ever song if all you have heard is the one they released (misery business) & you like that song your going to love this album. paramore is very simlair to avil lavigne just better in my opinion (& i quite like avil lavigne) but you can,t go wrong with this album its great. if your still not sure go to paramore,s website & you can listen to this whole album for free hope this helps!!!

Songs are so so catchy...I'm a rock fan and don't usually listen to this genre of music BUT I can highly recommend this. Check out Hayleys voice on YOU TUBE doing the acoustic versions of Crush Crush Crush and Misery Business....REALLY REALLY GOOD

If all you've heard is their first single, Misery Business, its a good basis to go on when considering buying this album. Lots of powerful-sounding-jump-around-and-sing-along songs on this album, but also has its fair share of the slow stuff - all spectacularly sung by the band's Hayley Williams who has a really astoundingly powerful voice for someone so young.
Definately a turn up loud album, the more fast paced songs really do sound better than the slower ones but overall it is a really great release.

Very good album, brought after listening to Kerrang. Try it and you won't be disappointed. Excellent light rock. Very like Avril Lavigne.
