i bought this album on the strength of hearing "i write sins not tragedies". it was a gamble, it could have been the biggest waste of £10 ever. but the album was immense!!!

with a wide range of musical genres added so that P!ATD are not just your average emo band which seems to be flooding the market. every song seems to better the last.

if it wasn't for the instrumental section in the middle of the album, which i thought detracted from the genius of the rest of it i would have put it in my top 10 ever albums...

amazing buy it!!!

Steer clear unless you are a hardcore fan

I heard so much hype about this band, "the future of pop punk" they were labelled. If this is the way pop punk is going then i don't not want to know. This emo/jazz fusion of an album is all over the place and the lyrics leave much to be desired. To be fair they do roll out some catchy tunes on rare occasions, but it is not often enough to salvage this album. When listening to this you find yourself looking at your watch wondering when it will end. Unless you are into the emo/jazz crossover then steer clear of this album, as it will waste your time and money.

  Innovative Music

I bought the cd for my sister because I know she loved the band. I do like some of there songs. The songs consist of catchy choruses, rythmic beats and an all round innovative sound. Panic! are on the same label with pete wentz who also include all out boy. The band try to pull of a vintage war time feel with videos of the music. I fell the lead singer sound like the bloke you would meet in a 1940's bar during a bomb raid of some sort haha. The album already carrys 2 or 3 various hits through out nme, mtv and varios other music programs/magazines. I gave it a 4/5 purely because of the different sound making it new exciting a cd for nearly anyone.

This album is one of the best I've heard in a long time. They are such a good band. Their songs are catchy and you'll fall in love with them. P!ATD are labelled as "emo" but in my opinion they aren't. Lyrics are good and on the whole, a truly awesome band!

Great band. At first i wasn't that intrested in them, then my friend took me to see them live. They were sooo good! Ive been hocked on them ever since. I like all their songs, their fast and so many words which describe whats happening. Brendon the lead singer in Panic at the disco writes many of the songs with his band. most of all Ryan who plays the quitar plays with so much excitment and i just love them and their songs. You will not be disapointed once you listen to their songs and bass.
